All upwards and downwards movements by the chair are automatically made by the spittoon element and the dental unit too. The spittoon bowl can be removed for easier cleaning.

Product details

Both control displays units are fitted with seat control, so dentist and assistant can directly manage all functions from their respective display. That saves time during treatment and makes the U 1301 EXPO a modern and effici-ent treatment unit. The four hose storage hol-ders can be fitted with instruments as required.

Everything under control

The dental unit is safe and easy to use via a new modern membrane opera-ting panel. Now even the mouth rinse glass filler and spittoon can be con-trolled from here. The logical programming options plus foot controller en-sure maximum ease of operation. The modular ULTRADENT system offers equipment for all possible forms of treatment. The table / instrument unit can be easily moved to the ideal position using just one hand. The integral X-ray viewer is new.

A light polymerization handpiece can be easily integrated. No ex-tra cables are needed. The integrated curing lamp is controlled via the display.

Additional options for everyone

The head rest on the GL 2020 patient chair, which comes in 3 different styles and with 2 types of magnetic head pads, offers unlimited setting op-tions. This allows patients to sit comfortably while enabling the dentist to carry out treatment in a safe and ergonomic manner. A sense of security is reinforced by the anatomic-al shape, the soft upholstery and the particularly wide sitting area.

Hygiene

ULTRADENT treatment units offer various auto-matic program functions to maintain hygiene. These increase functional safety, protect practice staff, save time and prevent errors in interpreting care instructions. The U 1301 EXPO unit option:

Rinse: All instruments are rinsed with clean water for two minutes.

Accurate and infinitely variable adjustment of speed and intensi-ty can be set and recalled by foot control F10. Optional the F9 cord-less radio foot control is available.

The optional arm rests on the left and right can be folded toge-ther or even taken off entirely.

Also a piezoceramic tartar remover, even including a LED light, can be used with the U 1301 unit.

The Ultradent light mi-cro motor K2 is controlled via the display and foot control. Rotation direc-tion can be freely selected. Speed can be altered and preset.

Multimedia

The UV 5000 TFT screen is an intelligent, high-resolution monitor able to process all sorts of signals (including video, camera, PC and digital x-ray signals). The intraoral camera and monitor can be controlled without diffi-culty using the unit’s foot control. Thanks to modern interface architecture it is also possible to connect future equipment.

Visual informations

The UltraCam UV 5080 camera can be positioned directly in the dental unit. When it is taken out of the holder, multimedia mode is activated au-tomatically. You then obtain sharp, high-contrast and vivid images which will impress both you and your patients.

LED TechnologyAll the benefits of LED lighting and innovative technology are combined in the Solaris, making it the ideal operating lamp for dental practices. Ten LEDs illuminate a clearly delineated, rectangular area with a cold, even light (light field measurements 70 x 140 mm at a distance of 70 cm from the light source). The special parabolic geometry of the ten LEDs generates a hundred overlapping individual points of light, dispelling any shadows. The light emitted by the Solaris is free from UV rays and generates no heat.

Two potentiometers on the back of the lamp can be used to adjust the light to individual treatment situations. These allow the color temperature to be adjusted via a new control system, thus optimizing the color contrast on soft tissue. The light intensity can also be adjusted for improved de-tail recognition. The interaction between these two factors improves visual acuity and ensures optimum visibility, reducing eye strain and extending concentration spans.
