• Data can be collected for almost anything you want to find out about.
• Data means information.

• Data can be Quantitative or Qualitative
• Quantitative refers to ‘quantity’, or amount.
• Qualitative refers to ‘quality’, or some other description.
• Quantitative Data
• Quantitative data can be split up into two categories:
• Continuous data can take any value in a continuous sliding scale.
• Discrete data must take specific values.
