    Education system using one effective medium for creating national unity and

    integration. In one stream school, students can still learn their respectivenative language as well as allowing them to develop and achieve nationalunity and integration through education. - Prof Datuk Dr Kamaruddin-

    Through the one stream school, democratization is notviewed as using one medium only, but multi-racial studentshave the right to learn their native language.

    It is obviously can be seen through initiative of Ministry ofEducational Malaysia (MOE) that give the right to other racesto learn their respective native language.

    Government has prepare many opportunities for all

    citizen to have education.

    Free education was provided to all children beginning in

    1962. then, the age limit of free education until 15 years

    old and the termination of examination requirements for

    entering secondary Education Act1961

    Opportunity to get an education was provided to all segments

    of society regardless of social class, ethnicity, and gender for

    at least until form three.

    From 1999, the opportunity for all students to enter form four

    was expanded. Student who only pass one subject are eligible

    for up to form four.

    This is to ensure that all citizens have access to education up

    to form five.

    For students who are no longer interested in their academics

    can continue their schooling in the field of vocational duringform 4.

    One form of assistance is the

    establishment of boarding schools thatenable students to get an education

    without having to commute from home

    to school every day that costs a lot.

    In addition, the construction of manyboarding schools for the purpose of

    educational opportunities .

    Students who are poor and less fortunate whocome mainly from the rural economy with lowfamily background has been given smallscholarships or financial aid to cover the course

    of their schooling. In addition, textbook schemes are also given to

    students who come from low-income family.

    Facilities were provided is not only for the rural

    communities but the same treatment given topoor students in the city.

    in the context of our country Malaysia, quitesuccessful and indeed provide opportunitiesfor Malaysians to acquire education at theprimary level to tertiary level.

    Along with the democratization of education,it is hoped that it can meet the government'sagenda to restructure society and eradicate

    poverty by using education as a prime mover.
