The StoryILTI LUCE –Turin (Italy)It was born in the late 80’s, from a long experience matured by its founders in the lighting field and research of innovative lighting sources.At the beginning the planning end the development are concentrated on fibre optics, which give rise to the first complete system called FOM (Fiber Optic Museum), that was used in the first important realizations, the lighting of Ini’s tomb, nearby The Egyptian Museum in Turin, second only to the Cairo Museum. From then on the research of solutions hi-tecnology itself be concentrate on apart from on fibre optics, also on use of other source of light, and obviously in last few years on led tecnology with high emissions. The ILTI LUCE is a young company that avail oneself of the collaboration of important formative structures as the Polytechnic in Turin, the Polytechnic in Milan and the IED (European Design Institute) in Milan. It is equipped with a own inside laboratory to the development of prototypes and to the technical tests, structure that enables to could supply in short time solutions made to measure in reply to the inquiries of the designer of all the world. The range of product is subdivides in three lines:F.O.M. line that includes all fibre optic systems and the relative accessories, the INNOVATION line that include apart from the finished products with fibre optic, also the flourescent lamps T2 and T5 and numerous other products, and finally the ILTI LEDS line that is a very complete range that enables to project in exact way with this tecnology of last generation. ILTI LUCE is present in more countries with important realizations, and in Italy in the more prestigious placed as the San Pietro Basilica in Vaticano, the Capitoline Museums in Rome, the Cathedral in Milan and very many other. The close collaboration with important architects and light designers, it is an important activity that enables to compare daily with the lighting tecnique needs of the several applications, a constant demand to the research of the new solutions and often made to measure.

Light EvolutionOn rather the philosophy of ILTI LUCE in few words. Our mark is the research, made of experimentations and daily comparisons with the designers and who ask for new solutions such us Politecnico of Turin and Milan, and high formation such us IED of Milan, developments and suggestions new solutions that often become new ways of making light.Every year ILTI LUCE welcomes graduates for work placements, giving them the opportunity to learn and develop a degree thesis, but also to take part in the manufacturing process.

Yesterday, today, tomorrowILTI LUCE was born in Turin, a city where news are familiar. Turin holds many supremacies in several fields. Cinema, TV, radio, fashion are started on the banks of the Po river. Then the car arrived and all efforts have been concentred in this direction. Today Turin has discovered again its vocation.ILTI LUCE was first company to introduce a complete system of fibre optic lighting in the eighties.F.O.M. system (Fibre Optic Museum) was beginning of an uninterruped development through to fluorescent, Led, and electroluminescence sources. With many are the ideas currently being researched in order to look at the future with confidence.

ILTI LUCE is present in several Museum with the aim to value and preserve fine arts.
