The Board meets simultaneously as the Board of Supervisors and as the governing board of all special districts having business heard this date, in accordance with Resolution Nos. 83-1346, 83-156, 85-1722, 86-1649 and 2003-1338. The Board of Supervisors welcomes and encourages participation in the Board meetings. When it appears there are several members of the public wishing to address the Board on a specific item, at the outset of the item the Chair of the Board will announce the maximum amount of time that will be allowed for presentation of testimony. Matters under the jurisdiction of the Board and not on the posted agenda may be addressed by the general public following completion of the regular agenda and any off agenda matters before the board for consideration. The Board limits testimony on matters not on the agenda to five minutes per person and not more than fifteen minutes for a particular subject. The meeting is videotaped in its entirety and will be cablecast live on Metrocable 14, the government affairs channel on the Comcast and SureWest Cable Systems and is closed captioned for our hearing impaired viewers. The meeting is webcast live at http://www.saccounty.net. Today's meeting is being broadcast live and will be rebroadcast on A DVD copy will be available for checkout through the County Library System seven to ten days following the meeting. COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
This commission is the hearing body for all items that are not within Community Planning Commission boundaries as well as countywide policy
issues. It develops, maintains, considers and acts upon amendments to the general, specific and community plans. It also reviews and reports on the County Capital Improvement Program, plans of local agencies to construct
major public works projects, and the acquisition and disposition of real property by the County and local agencies. Additionally, this commission also
serves as the Board of Zoning Appeals and hears matters relating to zoning regulations and matters arising from the Subdivision Map Act and the
Sacramento County Code. There are TWO seats to be filled due to the current expired terms of P. Maxfield (District 4 nomination) and A. Laiewski (District 5
appointee), both of whom are eligible for reappointment upon receipt of a new application. At the time of filing, all persons applying shall be required to
submit an Applicant's Statement containing no more than 200 words, which shall be made public. Application filing period will be from 11/13/12 to

The Board meets simultaneously as the Board of Supervisors and as the governing board of all special districts having business heard this date, in accordance with Resolution Nos. 83-1346, 83-156, 85-1722, 86-1649 and 2003-1338. The Board of Supervisors welcomes and encourages participation in the Board meetings. When it appears there are several members of the public wishing to address the Board on a specific item, at the outset of the item the Chair of the Board will announce the maximum amount of time that will be allowed for presentation of testimony. Matters under the jurisdiction of the Board and not on the posted agenda may be addressed by the general public following completion of the regular agenda and any off agenda matters before the board for consideration. The Board limits testimony on matters not on the agenda to five minutes per person and not more than fifteen minutes for a particular subject. The meeting is videotaped in its entirety and will be cablecast live on Metrocable 14, the government affairs channel on the Comcast and SureWest Cable Systems and is closed captioned for our hearing impaired viewers. The meeting is webcast live at http://www.saccounty.net. Today's meeting is being broadcast live and will be rebroadcast on Friday at 6:00 p.m. A DVD copy will be available for checkout through the County Library System seven to ten days following the meeting.
