  • Questions/Comments?

One area that spans across all these areas and the campus is Information Technology. In fact, the current Academic Master Plan, shows how integrated technology has become on our campus

Enhancing the Learning ExperienceThe new Nursing simulation lab

Integration of People, Processes & TechnologyWhat we have learned is that we gain the most benefits when we focus our efforts on the integration of people, processes, and technology. Where we learned this was in our three year implementation of Banner. To be successful, we really had to come together as campus and redefine how we do business. Early on, we realized that for us to be successful we had to put a lot of structure in place to make sure that the campus embraced the changes and adopted a mindset for continuous improvement.

Mentorship of StudentsPartnering with Academic Departments like Computer Science and Physics, Information Technology relies heavily on students to deliver campus technology services. This deliberate approach is part of a strategy to provide students real-world experience in a high-tech environment which positions them for great career opportunities when they graduate. Strategic Partnerships In addition to the items mentioned above, this team fosters partnerships outside the institution looking for opportunities to gain efficiencies, learn best practices, and add value to the ASU campus.
