Case Study : Botany Cranes Botany Cranes is a large mobile crane company with 20 cranes and a number of truck and forklifts. Serving the Sydney area with up to 50 jobs a day. Involving the movements of 40 people to keep our operations happening on time and safely. Key Challenges and Business Needs Botany Cranes needs to be able to react rapidly to the requests of the customers. Job Progress of our fleet during the day needs to be up to date, to have records on hand of past jobs and customer details, the need to be able to transfer the job information to the crane crews quickly, to have information and record of customers account balances and details of past conversations about accounts. Important information like council permits, traffic plans, OHS information for sites etc need to be attached to the job card s. Solution With the use of TSM’s visual scheduler, Botany Cranes found that the jobs can be changed easily and the status of jobs is also easy to see and change. The history tab makes finding past jobs easy and fast and then the copy tab makes creating a new job card just as easy. Using the email and sms tab Botany Crane sends information to our crane crews with the click of a button. Using the contacts in actions tab, they can easily see the aged debtors for a customer then using the notes section, they now have a history on conversations. Using the Documents tab both in the contacts and job cards this information is easily scanned and stored. Result Botany Cranes was able to save time, keep important information, know what their equipment is doing. TSM reporting is easy and fast.
