Stay Focused

Why do we work so hard at running from the position of the

humble and contrite, when God Himself has said He caters to

these very heart conditions? Why do we have so much zeal

and passion for doing what it takes so that we will not have

to suffer when, it is written that we are rewarded if we suffer

for Christ sake? Why are our priorities so focused around

enjoying life and what this world has to offer when, it is

written that the world is passing away along with its desires?

Christ did not suffer so that we wouldn't have to, and He did

not come so that we would not have to go. We must stay

focused on the will of God and finding contentment in every

situation—don’t forget about the inheritance you have

waiting on you—and we must deny ourselves and take up our

crosses daily! This life is but a temporary privilege, and in

order to truly live it to the fullest, we must live it wisely for

the one who gave it to us.

Follow the Truth

The Truth Church Community Garden is here! Created as a way for our family to fellowship with one another as well as the surrounding community. We wanted to bring true green thumbs and really interested gardeners together to share the love of God as well as their plant growth secrets. We are looking for volunteers to help with our first planting, we're planting fruit and vegetables this season. If you would like to volunteer or for more information see Bro. Rick James or Sis. Kieran Lindsey. Help us grow!

Truth in the FamilyFEATURED FAMILY TO KNOW: THE KELLEYSHi brothers and sisters in Christ! I'm Kalia Kelley mother to Kenton and Keilah Kelley. My mom Nodie Lindsey and I relocated from Kansas City Kansas to Dallas Texas to live closer to my sister Kieran Lindsey. I remember visiting The Truth Church Easter Sunday in 2016. I really felt a connection to the word of God as well as the spiritual growth in my sister. These last two years have been filled with lots of ups and downs, but I am encouraged by Colossians 1:17 He is before all things and in Him all things hold together. I am grateful to be apart of a growing church family led by such a compassionate pastor like Cedric Harris.
