selling classes and product knowledge classes on specific products and how to sell them. As the merchandising manager I oversee both hard and softlines daily to ensure product and marketing programs are visually correct, exciting and inviting. I map all of the departments, and aisles a season ahead to plan for product placement and proper ordering of the merchandise, then ensure my staff understands the plan and is able to execute it. I also order all of the merchandise in my store.
