Job description: Cleaning Site Manager

I have worked in various sites for floorbrite, doing various cleaning jobs, ranging

from, buffing floors to get a nice shine on them, sometimes stripping floors that

have been damaged in any way, also have been a supervisor on various sites

managing a number of staff making sure the sites working on are cleaned to the

highest standard. I was a site manager which involves cleaning two building

communal areas only i.e. toilets, stairs, landings, any glass within the buildings,

managing the car park, collecting mail and delivering to the tenants, generally

liaison with the tenants and contractors who attend the site. I have recently moved

house, also moved work, supervisor/housekeeper at Liverpool Innovation Park, Edge

Lane, Liverpool, My duties involved looking after the whole building during the

hours of 8am until 4pm, cleaning toilets and replenish toilet rolls hand soap,

keeping main reception and café area clean and tidy. Evening supervisory work

involves looking after 7 cleaners who all have the own departments to clean, doing

wages for our area manager, also stock ordering and monitoring for the site.

Job description: Store Cleaning Supervisor/handy person

Working within the Asda stores I worked between two Asda stores which were Asda

store Pwllheli, Asda store Llangefni. My job entailed supervising a team of staff to

ensure the stores were cleaned before they opened, Also had to diamond grind the

floors within the store which entailed, grinding down the shop floor with a wetrock

machine using grinding pads for a couple of days which left the floor very chalky,

then changing the pads to polish up the floor so it has a glass/mirror finish. Also on

handy person duty’s doing the general maintenance of the store.

Oct 2006 to Feb 2008 ASDA Pwhelli Gwynedd North Wales

Job description: Store Security Officer

Working in Adsa stores Pwhelli as this was a new build and had not opened I had to set

all the security department up, i.e. log books for keys, search logs for search’s, the

camera system, my duty’s involved checking details of the stock loss i.e. damages within

each department, camera surveillance supervision of colleagues and customers via the

camera system, prevent stock loss either via theft or damages, also to log any damages

or thefts, also I had to liaise with the local police, writing statements and attending

court if necessary, also whilst in this roll I was asked to work at the Asda store LLangefni

on security, this was only a part time role between two stores. Also worked as an Asda

Ace for City Facilities to make up my hours.

Reason for leaving: - not enough hours was offered fulltime hours

Oct 2005 to Oct 2006 Greenacres holiday village Morffa Bacchan Blackrod Sands Gwynedd

Job description: Cleaning Operative/night security officer

Night security officer on the holiday village, I was working on my own, patrolling the

holiday village in the mobile van, also investigating caravan alarms when they went off,

we had a pager which sounded the alarms, this job was a bit unnerving at times I left

security side but still worked on the holiday village, as a cleaning operative the job

entailed working with a team of operatives, we all get 18-25 caravans a day to clean

from bronze, silver and gold, this involved bed changes, hovering and a general

clean of the caravans, the caravans are cleaned to a very high standard. On some

occasions I have had to check the caravans when they had been cleaned, I also

cleaned the complex whilst working on the holiday park, starting work at 4.30am,

Then when I had finished the complex I had to clean touring block which involved

cleaning toilets and the shower block then moving onto the caravan cleans.

March 2003 to Aug 2005 Southlake land leisure parks Oceanedge/regent leisure parks Morecambe Lancashire Job description Cook/Security

When I started with the company I was the head cook on Oceanedge leisure park,

running a team of people in the kitchen, providing high quality food cooked to a high

standard, cooking various meals ranging from breakfasts, dinners/lunch, to main meals,

also a variety of snacks, we had to keep all prep areas clean and tidy for health and

hygiene reasons, also a full clean of the kitchen after every shift, to enable the next shift

to get straight to work. I was then asked if I would take over the kitchen at regent

leisure park, which I did, only for breakfasts and teas, I also done security at night on

regent, which involved checking passes of holiday makers when they entered the

complex and patrolling the site at night, also resolving any issues within the camp site.

Reason for leaving: Break up of relationship.
