Music is a celestial gift or bounty. It is a medium to glorify God. Praise of God does not end in the church. The believer’s community is an edifice. The whole universe is God's creation. Both should be cons-tantly filled with the praise of God.

In the Hebrew worship Psalms and music played dominant role. It is still so. In the beginning of church, the ministry of music had its role. It was an active stream of worship. Home, churches and the entire earth is a courtyard of hymns. Even in the silence of thought the basic sound is that of hymn. Our minds and hearts overflow with music. Music takes root in our hearts and at times it overflows spontaneous-ly. In Psalm 101:1, we read 'I will sing of your love and justice. Oh Lord I will sing praise'. Music is an inseparable part of Christian wors-hip. All of nature is praising God today, but His people are prone to forget to praise Him. You have much for which to give praise. Bring joy to God's heart by praising Him.

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
