Graduation Trends

The majority of students (approximately 80%) who transferred from MCCCD to another institution did so without an award or degree from MCCCD. Many MCCCD students who transferred to other institutions subsequently earned a degree or certificate. Over the three-year period of this analysis, five institutions accounted for approximately 83% of all subsequent degrees/awards. Arizona State University accounted for the largest proportion of these awards at approximately 59% of the total, and Northern Arizona University awarded approximately 9%. The University of Phoenix, Grand Canyon University, and the University of Arizona rounded out the top five, accounting for another 15% of all subsequent graduations.
