Remanufacturing automotive parts is very much like assembling new parts except that used parts are assessed for quality and durability, then cleaned & prepared for use. In remanufacturing, the part must be completely disassembled, cleaned and examined for wear and damage.

Worn out, missing or non-functioning components are replaced with new components. Common fail components are 100% replaced with new higher quality components, then reassembled and tested for compliance with performance specifications.

Cores are identified by OEM part number and crossed against super-sessions.

Computers that make the grade are removed from their cases

Labels are removed from their cases along with dirt and grease

Computers are put through extensive electronic simulations, testing 100% of inputs and outputs, simulating real on-car conditions

Defective units are repaired to match or exceed OEM specifications
