I understand that the Tracy Archuleta Athletic Camp director and instructors will NOT be held responsible for injuries or loss of property while the previously-named participant is attend-ing the camp. I do hereby release the State of Indiana, the University of Southern Indiana, its officers, agents and employees from all liability including claims and suits in law or equity for

any injury - fatal or otherwise. The signatures below absolve the Tracy Archuleta Athletic Camp of all responsibility for loss of personal property. Furthermore, I realize the risks

involved to the participant. I will pay, or cover through my insurance, any medical or hospital expenses, doctor bills or other expenses which could be incurred as a result of treatment

given to the previously named participant for illness or injury while attending or subsequent to attending the Tracy Archuleta Athletic Camp. I hereby authorize the staff of the Tracy Archuleta Athletic Camp to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency

Welcome to the 2009 summer baseball camps at the University of Southern Indiana. Our summer camps are designed to help young players improve their individual skills for the upcoming season. Our camp staff will provide a terrific learning environment along with an opportunity for each camper to demonstrate his baseball talents. These camps are designed to have a low instructor to camper ratio to provide the best learning experience. Thank you again for your interest in the 2009 Tracy Archuleta Baseball Camps. Tracy Archuleta, Head Baseball Coach

Tracy Archuleta is off to the fastest pace of any USI baseball coach in the history of the program. Archuleta has won 79 games in his two seasons at the helm and taken the squad back into the regional and national spotlight. Archuleta’s first Eagles team made

their first appearance in the final four of the NCAA Division II North Central Regional Championship. In the second season, Archuleta and the Eagles won their first GLVC West Division and the first conference regular season title in 15 years.

Youth Camp JUNE 22 - 24

Offers the young player the opportunity to prepare for his spring season in a fun and positive learning atmosphere. Includes baseball

fundamentals, drill work specifically designed to improve skills, and simulated game situations.

Pitching & Defense Intensity Camp JUNE 22 - 23

The foundation of any successful team is its pitching staff and defense. This two day camp will give each player the opportunity to learn the

correct approach in each area. The skills and techniques that will be taught are identical to the ones USI uses on a day-to-day basis and are a major reason for their current success. The pitching philosophies and mechanics learned in this camp are those that can be applied to every aspect of the game and are a must have for every player. USI’s head

coach Tracy Archuleta will lead the defensive portion and pitching coach Joel Weaver will lead the pitching portion of the camp. USI players will also be present giving this camp a very low instructor to camper ratio to

provide the best learning experience for every camper.

Hitting Intensity Camp JUNE 24 - 25

One of the trademarks of coach Archuleta’s teams has always been their offense prowess. In his first year as the head coach of the

Screaming Eagles, Archuleta’s team saw its batting average raise an incredible 41 points from the previous year. In this two day Hitting

Intensity Camp, campers will learn the same techniques and philosophies that have given USI its current offensive success. From

the younger camper to the older camper, the same principles for success will be shown to ensure that success is permanent and not a temporary fix. Coach Archuleta along with his assistants and players

will be on hand to give the personal attention that is necessary to make this a very valuable experience for every camper.

From the North (Hwy 41) Take Hwy 41 south to Hwy 66 (Lloyd Expressway). Go west on Hwy 66 all the way

through Evansville to the University Parkway exit. Exit left towards the USI campus. Turn left just before the Physical Activities Center (PAC) towards the tennis

courts. Follow road past the tennis courts and up the hill to the baseball field.

From the South (Hwy 41) Take Hwy 41 north to Hwy 66 (Lloyd Expressway). Go west on Hwy 66 all the way

through Evansville to the University Parkway exit. Exit left towards the USI campus. Turn left just before the Physical Activities Center (PAC) towards the tennis courts.

Follow road past the tennis courts and up the hill to the baseball field.
