TRACES OF ALS Volume No:3 Issue No:1
2015-16 1st Quarter
Dear Readers,
It is with utmost pleasure that we are releasing our newsletter ‘ALS’s Dairy’2015.
It has been our continuous and sincere effort to see that this magazine speaks with
the voice of each one of us at The Ashok Leyland School. It is a concoction of
events, activities and one’s imagination put into words. We also take this
opportunity to appreciate the hard work put in by each and every member of the
magazine committee, which is highly commendable. We do hope we have been
able to leave imprints for future trails.

The first meeting for teachers after the rejuvenating summer break
was held in school, with Principal Mrs. Uma Srinivasan on
28.05.2015. It was an enriching orientation programme. Through a
brain-storming session, the Principal culled out the noble qualities to
be built in every student, while passing through the tunnel of school
years. The various ‘challenges’ being faced by the students and the
teachers in 21st Century Skills process were also dealt wing- wise,
through an active interactive session. The entire programme was
throbbing with activities and was really an effective eye - opener
which helped teachers to see new horizons in imparting quality
education to children.
