Expert Fitment Required.
Ensure that this fitting instruction ispassed to the customer.
Remove undersealing, anti- corrosion wax andnoise-deadening material in the area of the contact surfaces.
In order to use the trailer hitch, simultaneous installationof an electrical kit is required. (Cable set not included!)
Apply corrosion protection material as specified inthe TOYOTA service guidelines, where necessary.
After approximately 1000 km of trailer use, retighten all boltsto the correct torque values.
For correct trailer loads please refer to vehicle documents ofthe individual vehicle model.
The coupling ball must be kept clean and well greased (*).
When stabilizers are used, proceedaccording to the instructions of themanufacturers of the stabilizer. Inthis case coupling ball must beinspected for wear at regular intervals.
(*)EXCEPTION:
The trailer coupling must be installed and inspectedin accordance with the applicable national regulations.
