CAKE OF ORANGE
INGREDIENTS
2 and 1/2 cups of flour (300 grams) 2 teaspoonfuls of powder of baking Pinch of salt 1/2 cup of juice of orange (125cc.) 150 grams of lard (butter) 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar (300 grams) 4 eggs Grated rind of a rind of orange
PREPARATION
To beat in a bowl the butter with the sugar until it remains creamy. To add then 4 yolks and the grated rind of orange. To mix apart the flour with the powder of baking and the pinch of salt.
To add this mixture to the preparation of butter alternating with the juice of orange. To incorporate then 4 whites of egg beaten on the verge of snow
To place in greased mold and to lead to oven moderated during 45 to 50 minutes.
Desmoldar then.
If it is wished, to refill and to bathe with bath of chocolate or to dust it with impalpable sugar (sugar glas, pulverized, shines)
Also it is possible to refill with a mousse or cream of orange or once withdrawn from the oven one spills above syrup of soft orange.
