General course objectives

• The course aims to: –  give a thorough introduction to modern principles of

diagnostic ultrasound scanners – execution of a project with simulation and

implementation of an imaging method. – students will be familiariesed with modern ultrasound

scanners for both research and clinical use. – prepare students to engage in research and

development teams. – software and hardware facilities at the Center for Fast

Ultrasound is presented. – areas of research (system design, flow measurement,

anatomical imaging) form the basis for teaching.
