the results from their users
Planning for Valentine’s Day? Are you feeling the pressure of planning a great date for Valentine’s
Day? Don’t worry! The relationship and dating experts at Happy
Couple and Superdate have you covered
Top Classic Dates
“Go skydiving together, go to a shelter and foster a dog for an
afternoon, learn how to make sushi, take a full day Italian language
class and then plan a romantic trip to Rome in the future, go to an
interactive show or to see performance art or burlesque, join the
polar bear club and take a plunge into a frigid body of water”
-Rachel Sussman, relationship expert
“Create a special treasure hunt around the city and leave notes with
hints and small gifts. Accompany your partner on the hunt and
document it with photos and videos together and stop to enjoy
different things in the city (food, scenery, monuments). Have it end
with something you know they really enjoy doing (ex. jazz cafe,
restaurant, play, museum, Netflix) and enjoy it together”
-Emma, 20, London
-Becky, 28, Eugene, OR
“Make a blanket fort and eat bread, fancy cheese, fancy meat,
apples, etc, inside it”
-Jeremy, 37, Sandy, UT, United States
“One session of archery shooting (lesson optional) or axe throwing”
Whatever you decide to do this Valentine's Day, be
sure to have fun and be yourself!
Surprised? So are we. The date ideas seem so… typical. Interestingly,
both singles and couples alike are drawn to traditional options. In
order to add an element of creativity, we polled Happy Couple and
Superdate users to choose their favorite from a list of less-
traditional date ideas. Here are their top choices:
A classic romantic date - dinner, a movie, or a stroll
A memorable adventure - trip or thrilling activity
Some extra special time in the bedroom
Nothing special
