ÉTOILEÉtoile is a modular bench system set within a triangular section which, in turn, is inside a hexagon. It expands on public space in a star-like arrangement and admits multiple configurations, from individual, to a group of different pieces that form a constellation. Its organic aggregation, based on the three system modules, is inter-preted in two ways; as a marker and as a link.

ÉTOILEOrigin
It was originally designed for the gardens on each side of the “Ser-pentin” avenue that runs amidst the buildings of the Quartier Courti-llières in Pantin, Seine-Saint-Denis. A well-known housing development, built by the architect Emile Aillaud in the 1950s.
Modular
Étoile is an omni-directional modu-lar system made up of three pieces. A central piece, “A”, with a hexa-gonal shape, to which the straight modules B1 and B2 are attached, on the five sides of the hexagon.
Material
Made from moulded reinforced concrete with a gentle etched finish and in the Escofet standard chart colours. May be supplied in other colours on request.
Installation
The three modules have lower re-cesses for slings and threaded an-chorages for installation with M16 x 140 mm screws driven into holes and fixed in place with resin.

Installation Drill pavement (Ø40x180 mm) and fill with resin or fat morter. Tightly screw the 2 stud bolts M16x140 mm. Center and caulk the bench foot all around.
