Philadelphia. At the time the 2:00 barrier was considered a magic mile. Went wire to wire with Homebred named by my Father, giving him his initials TBJ.My Father passed in 1980 and I had some setbacks with my young stock and decided to go back to school to finish my Bachelor’s degree.

The market was any place that would sell gifts like Hallmark stores, Mom and Pop gift shops, Hospital gift shops, seasonal gift shops along the coast of Maine. Number one new account producer nationwide 1986 and 1987.

Selling Life Insurance and Individual Disability products to Professionals and Families. Estate planning for the very wealthy. I considered The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company to be one of the strongest ships in a fleet of over 2000 Insurance companies.

GANZ, North Tonawanda, NY. US address.GANZ is a Canadian family owned gift company from Canada.1994-1996 District Sales Manager over seeing territory in Maine, NE Massachusetts and parts on Connecticut. Supervised a team of 12-15 sales people as well as producing myself. New account leader nationwide 1994 and 1995. Selling to gift shops very similar to Russ Berrie and Company referenced above.

ENESCO, Itasca, Illinois1996-2000ENESCO is an Illinois based company dealing mostly with Hallmark stores and other Collectible gift shops. Known for

their Precious Moments figurines as well as an assortment of other gift related items.

Fall of 2000 stopped working and returned to University of Maine full time to finish the 6 credits I was short of actually getting my Bachelor’s Degree. Took 10 credits and graduated December 2000.

Power-Tel, Auburn, MaineJanuary 2001-August 2001.200 seat inbound Call Center selling supplements, Focus Factor, Diet products, Thermal carb and hair restoration product, Avacor. They advertised through infomercials and radio like Rush Limbaugh radio show. Became one of the top 2 producers in Call Center right out of the box. Won a $2,000 travel voucher in June 2001 and took my two Son’s to Las Vegas for a week. It was after that trip I made the decision to move to Las Vegas, NV.

Triton Technologies, South Easton, Massachusetts.September 2001-December 2001Call Center Manager. One of the founding Partners of Power-Tel and his brother opened Triton Technologies, in bound Call Center selling only Focus Factor. I had called for a reference as I was moving out West to either Las Vegas, Nevada or Los Angeles, California. Instead of getting a reference I was convinced to become the Call Center Manager of approximately 40-50 seat in bound Call Center. Because we were a start-up I hired and trained 40-50 people on how to sell Focus Factor. I also produced on the phones with an unbelievable 87% closing percentage on Focus Factor. My job was complete as I helped the brothers get their Call Center going, but was determined that I wanted to move West for opportunity.

The Grandview of Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada aka The Berkeley Group.January 2002-June 2002They owned Resorts in Nevada, Florida and other parts of the US.Worked selling timeshare, at the time we had to drive the guests out by Red Rock Canyon to a place called The Cliffs. I wasn’t particularly interested in driving my ups everyday out to The Cliffs and decided I wanted to go to work for The

Hilton Grand Vacation Club. I resigned from The Grandview and interviewed with Hilton only to find out I couldn’t work for them for a year due to signing a non-compete agreement.

Clarity Hearing Instruments, Rockport, MaineJune 2002-November 2002Owned by a good friend that I grew up with, was recruited to do Continuing Education Credits for Hearing Aid Specialists throughout the country. Also over saw the lab as we also manufactured our own hearing aids. Honestly it was cold and lonely up there so I expressed to my friend that I was moving back to Auburn, Maine until May 2003 when I was planning to go back to Las Vegas, Nevada to sell timeshare for The Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs.

Camelot Homes, Auburn, MaineDecember 2002-June 2002Sold Mobile and Manufactured Homes. Interim job until I could return to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Hilton Grand Vacation ClubsJune 2002-August 2002 Sold timeshares interests to guests that came to resort, usually by means of an OPC booth located in the Flamingo Hotel. I wasn’t particularly happy with the ups that were being brought to resort and did an investigation of OPC booth and found the OPC (stands for Off Property Contact) was only prospecting guests they felt comfortable with. I tried to get them to sign me up and they wouldn’t even ask me to sign up. It was kind of an eye opener that these OPC’s in a sense had my fate in their hands.

The Grandview of Las VegasSeptember 2002-June 2003Worked out by South Point Hotel selling In House to existing Timeshare owners. Very lucrative position selling only to existing owners.

Westgate Resorts at Flamingo Bay, Las Vegas, NevadaJune 2003-August 2003Moved to Westgate Resorts based on the announcement they were building a beautiful Timeshare Resort Tower attached to Planet Hollywood. Sold timeshare to OPC

generated leads at The Flamingo Bay Resort on West Flamingo, just beyond the Palms Hotel. We were based out of Showcase located by the Coke Bottle on the Las Vegas strip. We would meet our ups at Showcase and then ride by van over to Flamingo Bay to show the timeshare models. The sale was based on becoming a member in advance of the Tower being built on East Harmon behind The Planet Hollywood. Wasn’t particularly happy to have to ride to Flamingo Bay to sell the timeshare product.

The Marriott Timeshare, Las Vegas, NevadaSeptember 2003-December 2003Worked out of the Polo Towers selling timeshare at pre construction prices for Le Grand Chateau, Marriott Timeshare Resort on East Harmon. Great company with tremendous benefits but was not a good fit for me.

Consolidated Resorts , Las Vegas, NevadaJanuary 2003-March 2003Consolidated Resorts owns Tahiti, Club Du Soleil and Tahiti Village resorts here in Las Vegas. They also have several resorts in Hawaii.Call Center telesalesStarted with Call Center doing out bound calls to people that said no upon first contact to come to Tahiti for a mini vacation. Decided to work at Tahiti Resort as VLO (Verification Loan Officer) As a VLO you prepared all the documents involved when a person decided to buy timeshare. It was good experience as it rounded out my Timeshare knowledge. The money was very limited and you could not make more than $500-$600 a week. I decided to move to sales line as a salesman.

Tahiti Resort, Las Vegas, NevadaMarch 2003-December 2008Showed the Tahiti property as well as Club Du Soliel which is just up the road on West Tropicana. We were also pre selling Tahiti Village that was to open around October 2003. Top sales person on the line from March 2003-October 2003. We eventually moved the majority of sales people and Sales Management to Tahiti Village at 7200 Las Vegas Blvd. I was promoted to Sales Management when we moved into Tahiti Village, based on my success selling on the line. I was promoted to a T/O which is a closer, T/O stands for take over.

After the liner finishes showing couple around the resort they call in a T/O to take over the sale and start showing different options. I was a T/O at Tahiti Village up until my departure right around November 2008.

GEO Holiday Club, Las Vegas, NVDecember 2008-March 2015Recruited to start a street Marketing program for GEO Holiday Club. The Marketing part of GEO was called Resort Stay Int’l. I started with a handful of OPC’s and they were doing about 25 tour’s a week. Within the first 6 Months we were up around 150 tours a week and beginning to bring on other Managers with their own teams. After about 3 years we had grown to 1,000 tour’s a week and had 4 major teams working on the strip. I was the Senior Marketing manager. During the course of our growth they requested that each of the 4 Managers Incorporate. My company was Johnson Marketing Inc. and I had about 30 OPC’s on the street as well as in 2 booths that I also ran on the strip, The Nevada Tour Center and Fatburger. In July of 2014 the man that had originally recruited me to start the street Marketing Program had some legal issues from Call Centers he had operated in 2000. New management was coming in and business had fallen off greatly. I left the company in March of 2015.

Platinum Tours Inc., Las Vegas NevadaApril 2015-PresentMy Son Michael and I formed Platinum Tours Inc. and are contracted with Westgate Resorts to deliver qualified couples to WESTGATE, on Paradise Rd. Westgate is the former Las Vegas Hilton and has a lot of history. Timeshare Resort owned by the biggest player in the industry.
