The Amal Network comprises101 educational institutions covering a range of educational and training areas:

• 56 high schools • 16 junior high schools• 15 colleges for Technicians and Practical Engineers

• 14 adult training centers

Division of High Schools:

• 34 high schools under the supervision of the Ministry of Education• 22 high schools under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Employment

Enrollment and Staff:

The number of students and teachers in the Amal network is approximately:

Students – 30,000Teachers and administrative personnel – more than 3,000 staff

Activities 

1 .Face to face facilitated meetings conducted in English

2 .Internet site for STAR

3 .Producing a joint newsletter 

4 .Reading articles or poems written by Jewish or Arab students 

5 .Reading a common, relevant literary work (The Enemy, by Pearl Buck)

6 .An ongoing dialogue between teachers and students from both schools.
