Turn over the centre piece and put your card on it.

Take the cards out of the suitcase

get to workTake the cards out of the suitcase. Each card has a coloured border. Green is for easy, blue for average and red for diffi cult. (Not all “I learn” suitcases feature cards of different diffi culty.)

Turn over the plastic centre piece, and put the card numbered 1 on it.

There are three drawings on the left of this card. Next to the drawings are coloured squares with holes in them. These show how many tiles you need to make up the word. The colour of the squares will help you fi nd the letters. Yellow means a vowel and blue means a consonant, and red is for combination letters.

The words that need to be laid out are also written on the fi rst few cards. Look through the letter tiles for the ones that form the word and put them on the squares next to the drawing. As soon as you have found all the letters, the card is complete. Can you read what you have spelt out?
