This week we will be trying Calico Spanish digital stories and songs: Maria La

Mona amarilla where students will listen to the story,read the story and be engaged

in a series of comprehension questions about the reading Students will listen to the 2

song’s lyrics and sing along.

Skills that students will practice during these activities will be interpretive

listening,interpretive reading and interpersonal speaking skills.

Content: The theme that students will be learning is how to ask what day is today.

How to answer today is…

Students will practice the days of the week in Spanish and they will review asking

for the main character of the story’s name and answering his name is... Students will

be reviewing greetings that they learnt in previous weeks as well.
