My family
3 Read this email from Stéphane.
Put a cross next to the four things he mentions.
Example: his grandparents
A his mother’s job
B living in Belgium
C his passion for sport
D his school
E living near his grandparents
F his brother and sister
G his interest in music
H how he sometimes helps his family

5 Read what Mohammed says about his life.

D Mohammed wants to do an apprenticeship.
E His best friend is younger than he is.

Shopping in Rouen
7 Read this part of a letter from Monique.

Winter sports
8 Read this magazine article.
Put a cross in the four correct boxes.
Example: The region is great for winter sports lovers.
A You can look around fashion shops.
B The local people are not interested in winter sports.
C You can be sure of the right weather for winter sports.
D Hot drinks are the favourite choices in cafés.
E The only sporting activities available are winter sports.
F You can see films.
G There are lots of cafés in the town centre.
H All the activities mentioned cost money.
