A Note From the Rector This week we return to the regular service schedule (8 a.m. and 10 a.m.), Sunday School classes resume, and we celebrate Epiphany. Many churches hold their Children’s Christmas Pageants on Epiphany. By doing so, it allows the children to focus on the

story without all the hoopla, and it puts less stress on schedules during the craziness building up to December 25. Eastern Churches traditionally celebrate what we think of as Christmas at Epiphany, and based on the earliest visual art that has survived,

Matthew’s version of the magi appears to have been much more popular than Luke’s account with the manger. Come this Sunday and learn more about this and these images!
