THE WORK ETHIC

From an early age, as young as four or five, I had , as did all of my peers, the work ethic put

forward to me as the wise and honourable way to proceed with my life.

I managed to avoid the issue by working for the royal marines playing music; my hobby.

Being paid to immerse oneself in a hobby hardly qualifies as work. After leaving I ran my own

business and profited not only from my own labour but that of others, distorting the reality of 

work.

Eventually I had to go out and earn some money as a matter of necessity and at last realized

what the work ethic was all about. You are paid to suffer the tedium others arent prepared to. A

situation that rankled at best, at worst becoming a debilitating torture driving myself and my peers

to despair.

So why?, why would anyone, especially our nearest and dearest, expound the virtues of the

work ethic when it is so obviously neither ethical nor honourable? Why tell generation after

generation that this is not only necessary but desirable? Hey; no big deal, they were lied to as were

their forebears, so, unbeknown to them, they passed the lie to us.

They(the incumbent government, whatever its colour, through the treasury) borrowed

from the bankers( I.M.F.) on the strength of your lifes productivity and part of the deal was that you

would pay the interest on the loan with a lifetime of taxes. To do that you have to work. It has

nothing whatever to do with ethics, but it does have everything to do with your sticking to a contract

between government and banks that you are not a party to. Thats right!, you are not a party to their

contract. It came into being when your parents registered your birth, completely unbeknownst to

them and certainly to you. You dont benefit from it, you didnt sign it but, your labour has been

used as collateral for the deal.

You angry yet, I am; that is one reason, albeit a big one, why I have entered into lawful

rebellion, there are many more that I would cover, but theyre for another time. Note that I say

lawful and not legal. Legal refers to commercial law. Lawful refers to natural or common law. As long

as the people of our land consent to government by uniform commercial code (u.c.c.) the work

ethic will dominate our lives. A return to common law will allow the people of this land choice.

Common law is simple law, natural law:-

Do as you will but cause no-one harm or loss by your actions.

One sentence; not years of legal study; simplicity itself. Then we all know where we stand and, who

stands with us. In the eyes of the law we are all equal as we were created not commercially

manufactured.
