Okay, but how do I use it in the classroom?
• Collaboration among students after class• Visual pen pals• Visiting authority• Author visit with class• Homebound instruction• AND – MOST IMPORTANTLY - • Visiting with my Grandkids!!! (okay, that one’s
not for the classroom
Can I hook it up to my projector?
• You bet, and here’s a great YouTube video to tell you how !
• This would be great for an author visit with the whole class.
Any downsides?
• Well, you can only connect to one device, so if another call comes in, you have to disconnect with the call you’re on.
• You and your contact must each have an Apple device that supports FaceTime.
• You must supervise closely if everyone in the class is on a different FaceTime visit.
• If the whole class is watching, it will be difficult for the other viewer to see everyone.
