Patrick wasn't Irish! He born in Banna Venta Berniae, a town in

Roman Britain! His real name was Maewyn Succath! He was never known to wear Green!

He was not a Canonized Saint! No one knows on which Day he Died!

Before the Irish Rebellion against the Britishin 1798, the Official Color of Ireland was

LIGHT BLUE!LIGHT BLUE!

A LITTLE HISTORYOver 340 years before Maewyn Succath (Patrick) was born, Britain was invaded by the

Roman Empire. There were many wars with the different tribes of Britain. Thousands ofpeople died in these battles.

In 43AD, a Roman force of about 40,000 led by Aulus Plautius landed in Kent. Theydefeated a force of Britons led by Caratacus and began taking the South-East of Britain.Caratacus escaped and fled to Wales where he set up a resistance base.

Seven years later, the Romans had conquered nearly all of Britain and founded the cityof London (Londinium) and built a bridge across the river Thames. A large network of roads wasalso built across the south of Britain.

It is believed that in 63AD that Joseph of Arimathea, one of Yeshua's (Jesus’s)disciples, was said to have been sent to Britain to spread the Gospel. The traditional Romancalendar later marked his feast day as March 17th!

For the next 14 years the Roman armies continued to fight against the Britons and by77AD the Romans defeated the last of the tribes in the North making All of Britain part ofthe Roman Empire.

As time passed, Catholicism began to grow with the legalization of the Roman CatholicChurch under Constantine I in 325. (First Council of Nicea)

It became a very bloody time in England's history and in 383AD, the western RomanEmperor Magnus Maximus had to withdraw his troops from northern and western Britain, leaving local warlords in charge.

This was what the world was like during the life of Maewyn Succath (Patrick).

THE LIFE OF ST. PATRICK (abt. AD 385–461) His father, Calpornius, was a deacon in the early church, and hisgrandfather, Potitus, was a presbyter (elder), but Maewyn Succath(Patrick) wasn’t much of a believer. When he was about 16 years old,Maewyn, and many others, were captured during a raid by ScottishPirates and sold to an Irish landowner. He became a slave, serving as ashepherd for 6 more years. It was during this time, while he was alone in the fields, he thoughtback on his father's teachings. He found protection, help, and peace in YHWH (God), and loved topray and meditate. He speaks of all this himself, in his 'Confessions':

"I was sixteen years old, and I knew not the true God; but, in a strange land, the Lordbrought me to the sense of my unbelief, so that, although late, I minded me of my sins, andturned with my whole heart to the Lord my God; who looked down on my lowliness, and had pityon my youth and my ignorance, who preserved me ere (before) I knew him, and who protectedand comforted me as a father does his son, ere (before) I knew how to distinguish betweengood and evil."

According to most accounts, Patrick never wore green! While in Ireland, he learned the Irish language and culture before attempting to escape.

Maewyn fled to Scotland and was captured again by Scottish pirates and taken to Gaul (France). It was in France that he decided to devote his life to Christ before he was released andsent back home to Britain where he continued to study scripture into his late twenties. Later,Maewyn claimed he had a vision that told him to bring Christianity to the Irish people, so tenyears later, he made his way back to Ireland as a missionary of Yeshua (Jesus). Eventually, he returned to Ireland to "care and labor for the salvation of others,"according to a book he wrote that was later named, 'The Confession of St. Patrick' (you candownload it from our website), that is when he changed his name. He was later known as theRoman Patricius, and in Irish as, Pátraic, which means "father of the people."

When Patrick arrived back in Ireland, he and his preaching ways were not welcomed. Notby the pagan Druid Priests or by the Roman Catholic Church, so he had to leave and land on somesmall islands off the coast. There he began to gain followers, and found many who were alreadyfamiliar with Biblical Truth! He eventually moved to the mainland to spread the Gospel acrossIreland for many years to come.

These days, Patricius is known as Saint Patrick. Though he is not a canonized saint by theCatholic Church, he’s well-regarded throughout the Christian world. But why the holiday?

Why March 17? Why the green? And why do we think of a non-Irishman as a symbol ofIreland?

A CLOSER LOOKA CLOSER LOOKWas Patrick a member of the Catholic Faith?

All evidence points to..... NO! Nowhere in any of the writings that he is given creditfor, does he ever mention the Roman Catholic church ofhis time. William Dool Killen’s book, The Ecclesiastical History ofIreland says: “He [Patrick] never mentions either Rome orthe Pope, or hints that he was in any way connected withthe ecclesiastical capital of Italy. He recognizes no otherauthority but that of the Word of God…”

In Patrick's own book, he states that his father was a deacon and his grandfather was anelder. That means he had parents and grandparents who married and had children!

The Roman Catholic Church believes in "Sacerdotal Celibacy," where members of theministry are not allowed to marry! So, since his parents and grandparents were married churchleaders, then the claims that Patrick was a Roman Catholic are Untrue.

So how did Patrick become a 'Catholic Patron Saint' of Ireland? In his book, 'Antiquities of Ireland' (you can download from our website): Edward

Ledwich explained: “The ninth century, was famous for reviving and incorporating Paganpractices with the Christian ritual, observing that Rome had her Mars, Athens her Minerva andevery country and city had a ...deity, whose guardian care was its greatest protection andsecurity, thought it very becoming ...for 'Christian Saints' to assume the patronage of aChristian People, and to interest them (the people) more in this new occupation, they broughttheir bones or reliques, wherever laid, and deposited them in the principal church of the area. The superstition and illiteracy of the age were favorable to every clerical imposition”

The author further stated: “It is an undoubted fact, that St. Patrick is not mentioned byany author or in any work of veracity in the 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th centuries!”

The title “Patron Saint” refers to “a saint or angel designated by the Church as the heavenlyprotector of individuals, institutions, or specialized activities,”

according to the New Catholic Encyclopedia. This means the Catholic Church says that Patrick is somewhere in heaven looking over andprotecting Ireland. Such an idea goes against the Word of YHWH! Scripture tells us that weshould rely on Him Only for protection—not on any person—dead or alive.

“…the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for thememory of them is forgotten” Ecclesiastes 9:5

"The Roman Catholics have proudly and exclusively claimed'St. Patrick', and most Protestants have ignorantly orindifferently allowed their claim...But he was No Romanist! His life and evangelical Church of the 5th century ought to bebetter known." (McClintock & Strong, Cyclopedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature, Vol. VII, p.776; article: Patrick, St.)

IN HIS OWN WORDS: What DID he Believe? “Because there is no other God, nor ever was,nor will be, than God the Father unbegotten, without beginning, from whom is all beginning, the Lord of the universe, as we have beentaught; and His son, Jesus Christ, whom wedeclare to have always been with the Father, spiritually and ineffably begotten by theFather before the beginning of the world, before all beginning; and by Him are made allthings visible and invisible. He was made man, and, having defeateddeath, was received into heaven by the Father;and He hath given Him all power over all namesin heaven, on earth, and under the earth, andevery tongue shall confess to Him that JesusChrist is Lord and God, in whom we believe, andwhose advent we expect soon to be, judge ofthe living and of the dead, who will render toevery man according to his deeds. And He has poured forth upon us abundantlythe Holy Spirit, the gift and pledge ofimmortality, who makes those who believe andobey, sons of God and joint heirs with Christ;and Him do we confess and adore.”He Received his calling from YHWH“I Patrick, a sinner, unlearned, declare indeedthat I have been appointed a bishop in Ireland;I most certainly believe that from God I havereceived what I am.”

He Didn't Eat Pork! “Behold, a herd of swine appeared in the pathbefore our eyes, and (my heathen companions)killed many of them, and remained there twonights, much refreshed. And their dogs werefilled, for many of them had fainted and wereleft half-dead along the way. And after thatthey gave the greatest thanks to God, and Iwas honored in their eyes. From that day forththey had food in abundance. They also foundwild honey, and offered me a part of it. Andone of them said, “It has been offered insacrifice.” Thanks to God! I consequentlytasted none of it.”He Called out to YHWH “Satan greatly tempted me, in a way which Ishall remember as long as I am in this body. And he fell upon me like a huge rock, and Ihad no power in my limbs, save that it came tome, into my mind, that I should call out“*Helias.”

*Latin form of ELIJAH meaning"My God is YAHWEH"

And in that moment I saw the sun rise in theheaven; and while I was crying out “Helias” withall my might, behold the splendor of that sunfell upon me, and at once removed the weightfrom me. And I believe I was aided by Christ my Lord.”

Now we know Patrick was Not Irish OR Catholic and did Not Wear Green!

Patrick was not a Catholic, in fact during his life time he had several conflicts with theRoman Catholic Church. When the pope sent a Bishop to Ireland, Patrick refused to bow to him.

Pope Gregory had sent delegates to the Christians Celts. "Acknowledge the authority ofthe Bishop of Rome!” they commanded. These are the first words of the Papacy to the ancientChristians of Britain.

They simply replied, “The only submission we can render him is that which we owe toevery Christian. But as for further obedience, we know of none that he, whom you term thePope, or Bishop of Bishops, can claim or demand." Patrick was born around 60 years afterthe Council Nicaea in 325AD and hecondemned their teachings. The Council of Nicaea setup Sunday asthe sabbath day and stopped the trueSaturday Sabbath worship. It alsoincorporated many other pagan traditionsinto the Roman church. Before the Council of Nicaea, much ofthe the Roman Empire kept YHWH'sSeventh Day Sabbath!

Maewyn Succath, (Patrick) was a good person. He devoted his life to convert many Irish Celts to Christianity and put his life in jeopardy

many times to preach the Gospel and to teach others about Yeshua (Jesus). He was Not Catholicand did not place anyone, including the Pope, above the One True God (YHWH).

Patrick went against the Catholic Church many times in his life. Some historicaldocuments show that he defended the Saturday Sabbath, kept the Jewish Passover, hebaptized believers with true baptism (immersion) and he never ate unclean meat.

Was he perfect? No.. He was just a man, but he was very popular because of histeachings and the way he cared for the people of Ireland.

He was never canonized as a Catholic Saint, but he was proclaimed a saint by popularadmiration with the approval of the Roman Catholic Church about the 12th century, 700 yearsafter he died. Something He probably wouldn't appreciate.

The History of Celtic Believers in Ireland “The monks sent to England (in 596 A.D.) by PopeGregory soon came to see that the Celtic Churchdiffered from theirs in many respects…Augustine…held several conferences with the Christian Celts inorder to accomplish the difficult task of theirsubjugation (submission) to Roman authority…TheCelts permitted their priests to marry, theRomans forbade it. The Celts used a different mode of baptism (i.e.,true baptism: immersion) from that of the Romans…The Celts held their own councils and enacted theirown laws, independent of Rome. The Celts used aLatin Bible (the Itala) unlike the Roman Catholic’s(Latin Vulgate), and kept Saturday as a day ofrest.” (The Rise of the Medieval Church, page 236-237, Flick.)

The Irish Believers throughout the Middle Ages were accused of being Judaizers, whichis to say that they observed certain religious rites after the manner of the Jews.

They believed and practiced Torah (laws from the Old Testament), something theCatholics considered a heresy, the main complaint was observing the Jewish Passover, on the14th day of Abib instead of Easter.

A good example was the writing called the Hibernensis, a late 7th or early 8th century Irishcanon law collection which drew heavily on the bible, and in particular the Old Testament, at atime when the Catholic Church was telling people they were meant to be "dead to the old law".

But, over time, Roman Catholicism began to take hold. The slow process of conforming thepeople to Catholicism led to the Catholic Emancipation in 1829. Then, in 1845, the 'Great Potato Famine' struck Ireland.A fungus infestation ruined up to one-half of the potato crop thatyear, and about three-quarters of the crop over the next sevenyears. Due to this famine, and by providing charity aid to the people,Parish Mission's Movement commenced that would lead to a stricterobservance of Catholicism in Ireland as well as the push for reformof healthcare and education.

In 1920, nearly 35% of Ireland was Roman Catholicand by 2011, Ireland had 84% who identified as Catholic .

The word 'DRUID' means “Knowing [or Finding] the Oak Tree”. Most of our knowledge of pagan Druidry comes from historical documents written by the

Ancient Romans, long before Patrick, and then later by the Roman Catholics who wouldeventually absorb most of Celtic society. (more about that later)

They didn’t write about their own culture, it was completely oral. Druids needed to knowall their spells, rituals, and wisdom by heart. Julius Caesar wrote that druids could spend 20years in training.

According to Julius Caesar’s writing, the druids were the most respected group of peoplein Celtic society apart from the nobles. They were more than a pagan religious order; they wereleading figures in society. The druids seem to have had an advanced civilization, considering theexistence of such structures as Stonehenge suggest that they were incredible builders.

But the Ancient Druids were very wicked in their beliefs. They worshiped many gods andthey offered up human sacrifices. It is said that they would build huge wickerwork images andfill them with living men and burn them alive.

One part of their belief system was the 'Sacred Grove'. A grove is a bunch of treeswhere the Druids would perform many of their sacrifices and other rituals. Trees played amajor part of their pagan beliefs. Even their calendar was based on them.

The number three was also very important to Druidry. Aside from the threefold deathand the three classes of druids, (the Bards, Ovates and Druids) there was the belief that theuniverse was divided into three parts. The Celts had also adopted the ancient symbol of threeconjoined spirals, known as 'the Triskelion'. There are several instances of druids being women including the Triple Goddess. Some ofthe named female druids include Biróg, Bé Chuille, and Dornoll, all of whom play large roles inthe Druid mythology.

The druids had a ritual for when they would find rare mistletoegrowing on an oak branch. They would sacrifice two white bulls whilecutting down the mistletoe with a golden sickle. The mistletoe wassaid to bring fertility and to be an antidote to poison. A cornerstone of Druid belief was in the existence of theOtherworld – a realm or realms which existed beyond the reach ofthe physical senses, a place where supernatural beings existed. It was a realm where the dead would go, and if found worthy, wouldreturn to the earth reincarnated in another form, whether it be as ahuman, a tree. an animal or even a rock! By the time of Patrick, the Druids had lost much of their influenceover society and were intermingled with the Roman Catholic Churchwho had already adopted many of their pagan customs.

Page 10: The TRUTH about ST. PATRICK'S DAY - Torah Towntorahtown.xyz/assets/products/StPatricksDay.pdfSo many people Celebrate 'St. Patrick's Day' every March 17th, yet very few know anything

This is a lot of information to take in, but it is necessary in order tounderstand how pagan influence has filled the mainstream churches of today.

St. Patrick’s Day customs, as we will soon see, are not from YHWH.Yeshua (Jesus) plainly said what it meant for those who follow such customs: “…laying

aside the commandment of YHWH (God), you hold the tradition of men…Full well you reject thecommandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition!” - Mark 7:8-9

St. Patrick’s Day is Filled with what the Bible condemns. Notice:“Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shallnot inherit the kingdom of God.” - Galatians 5:19-21 (RSV)

The First tradition we will discuss is the date: March 17th.

Did Patrick die on this date? The truth is that no one knows.March 17th is actually Alban Eilir: The Spring Equinox! TheDruidic Festival Alban Eilir means 'The Light of the Earth'. Oneof the inner mysteries of Druidry is the Druid's egg, which is thesymbol of Alban Eilir. it is the egg protected by the hare (rabbit). It is also the Canaanite of Festival of Astarte: Goddess of Love.

(see our booklet The TRUTH about EASTER)

Not only that, but it just so happens to also be the Roman Festivalof Liberalia! (that's where we get the word 'liberal')

The Romans celebrated Liberalia with sacrifices, processions (parades), indecent and crudesongs, and masks which were hung on trees, honoring the god of the vine and rebirth of nature. The celebration on March 17 was meant to honor Liber Pater, anancient god of fertility and wine, inebriation and uninhibitedfreedom (like Bacchus, the Roman version of the Greek godDionysus). Liber Pater was also a green vegetation god, responsible for protecting seed. Today, people all over the world celebrate March 17th as whatthey think is St. Patrick's day. But, in fact, they are doing theexact same things the ancient Druids and Romans did! Hostingparades, singing crude songs, dressing up and drinking in excess.

The SHAMROCK In mainstream belief, Patrick is said to be the one responsible forpopularizing the shamrock, or that three-leafed plant you’ll seeplastered all over the place today. According to legend, Patrick usedit to teach the Irish the concept of the Holy Trinity. However, they already had triple deities and regarded the numberthree highly. The Celts had the ancient symbol of three conjoinedspirals, known as 'the Triskelion'.

The shamrock itself held meaning long before Catholicismmade its way to Ireland, even in Druid rituals and stories. Thesignificance was the three prongs, as three is a number withsignificance in their Pagan deities such as Triple Goddess andother traditions. Green was the color associated with the Spring Festival ofAlban Eilir where the shamrock was the first of the plants toturn green.

“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the traditionof men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” - Colossians 2:8

Remember the three female druids Biróg, Bé Chuille, and Dornoll? They were part of the Tuatha Dé Danann meaning "the folk of the goddess Danu” or

"tribe of the gods" they were thought to be a supernatural race in Irish mythology. The Roman Catholic Church renamed Biróg meaning "high, exalted" to Saint Brigid ofKildare who is now one of Ireland's patron saints. Her feast day is February 1st , which wasoriginally a pagan Druid festival called Imbolc, marking the beginning of spring. Brigid had areputation as an expert dairywoman and brewer. She was reputed to turn water into beer!

“Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler: and whosoever is deceived therebyis not wise.” - Proverbs 20:1

Pota Phadraig or Patrick’s PotIs the custom of drinking alcohol on St. Patrick’s Day.

As the fable goes, Patrick was served a shot of whiskey that was very small. He decidedto teach a lesson of generosity to the innkeeper. He told the innkeeper that a devil (demon)who fed on the the innkeeper’s dishonesty was in his cellar. In order to banish the devil, theman must change his ways. When Patrick returned to the inn some time later, he found theowner generously filling the glasses. He returned to the cellar with the innkeeper and the devilwas so drunk from the landlord’s generosity, that Patrick promptly banished it.

The custom is called “Drowning the Shamrock” because it is customary to float a clover leafin the whiskey or beer before drinking it.

ST. PAT R IC K'S DAY HE AD L INE SSt. Patrick’s Day has resulted in numerous riots over the years.

Ohio University of Dayton in 2013,“More than 1,000 people wereinvolved in St. Patrick’s Day riot,”Dayton Daily News reported. “Tenpolice jurisdictions respond to theincident in the student campushousing area. There were brokenbeer bottles and 11 damaged cars, including a police cruiser.”

St Patrick's Day parties spiraled outof control overnight. Rioters hurledbottles at police and set a TV truckalight, feeding the flames with apropane tank and TV sets. BradDuncan, Chief, London PoliceService, said his officers had"never been subjected to this kindof violence" before.

At Pennsylvania State University, astudent-run St. Patrick’s Daydrinking marathon referred to as a“drunken free-for-all” has becomemore extreme. According to The Patriot-News,“In recent years, the event has ledto a rash of vandalism, publicdrunkenness, medical emergenciesand arrests.Community and student groupshave attempted to tamp down thefallout of hundreds of drunkenyoung people carousing throughcampus and borough streets. Evenso, with some of those initiatives inplace, last year was the worst yearyet.”

HOBOKEN, NEW JERSEY – ASt. Patrick's Day celebrationresulted in 34 arrests and reports oftwo sexual assaults.

In Ireland, “Fifteen teenagers underthe legal drinking age were arrestedin just one area of south Dublin in anight of drunken St Patrick’s Daycelebrations,”

LONDON, ONT.— A five-hour-long riot broke out on Fleming Dr.,near Fanshawe College, ashundreds of revelers, fueled by asun-filled day of drinking, setobjects on fire and attacked policeand fire department crews as theyarrived on the scene.

“So be very careful how you live. Live wisely, not like fools. You should use everyopportunity you have for doing good, because these are evil times. So don't be foolish with

your lives, but learn what YHWH wants you to do. Don't be drunk with wine, which will ruin yourlife, but be filled with the Spirit.” - Ephesians 5:15-18

So now we come to the part of this pagan celebration where people dress upin GreenGreen just like the LeprechaunsLeprechauns, Right?

WRONG! Many believe the nephilim leprechauns come from the‘illicit’ offspring between an human spirit and a fairy. In Irish folklore, fairy in the form of a tiny old manoften with a cocked hat and leather apron. Solitary bynature, he is said to live in remote places and to makeshoes and brogues. The sound of his hammering betrayshis presence. He possesses a hidden crock of gold; ifcaptured and threatened with bodily violence, he might,if his captor keeps his eyes on him, reveal its hidingplace. But usually the captor is tricked into glancingaway, and the fairy vanishes.” (Encyclopedia Britannica)

Page 13: The TRUTH about ST. PATRICK'S DAY - Torah Towntorahtown.xyz/assets/products/StPatricksDay.pdfSo many people Celebrate 'St. Patrick's Day' every March 17th, yet very few know anything

Before the 20th century, it was generally held that the leprechaun demon wore red, notgreen. Samuel Lover, writing in 1831, describes the leprechaun as: ...quite a beau in his dress, notwithstanding, for he wears a red square-cut coat, richly laced with gold, and inexpressible ofthe same, cocked hat, shoes and buckles.

According to David Russell McAnally: “He is about three feet high, and is dressed in alittle red jacket or roundabout, with red breeches buckled at the knee, gray or black stockings, and a hat, cocked in the style of a century ago, over a little, old, withered face. Round his neckis an Elizabethan ruff, and frills of lace are at his wrists. On the wild west coast, where theAtlantic winds bring almost constant rains, he dispenses with ruff and frills and wears a woolenovercoat over his pretty red suit, so that, unless on the lookout for the cocked hat, ye mightpass a Leprechawn on the road and never know it's himself that's in it at all.”

Originally, the leprechaun wore colors of red, not green. TheAmerican Breakfast Cereal view of leprechauns is offensive to sometraditional and purist Irish people. Up until the early 20th centurythe leprechaun looked like a much like a Santa Claus Mini-Me.

(see our booklet, 'The TRUTH about CHRISTMAS') According to Irish literaries, there were two kinds of leprechauns. The ones believed to be hanging out alone (like the 'Jolly old Elf')wore REDRED and the ones who hung out in groups wore GREENGREEN. .

IF LEPRECHAUN'S WEAR RED – WHO WEARS GREEN?Have you ever heard of a Clurichaun?

The Clurichaun, often considered to be the leprechaun's more evil "cousin", sometimescompared with the leprechaun himself, is an Irish fairy demon who is said to be an alcoholicwho goes out and gets very drunk on a nightly basis.

They are nocturnal creatures who are supposedly always drunk andoften ride sheep and dogs for sport. According to legend, Clurichaunthat are treated with respect and courtesy, will protect your winecellar. If you don't, they will spoil your wine and generally wreak havocand chaos on your home and loved ones. The REAL Reason why people often wear green on St. Patrick’s Dayis in order to make themselves invisible to mischievous Clurichaun(Leprechauns). They believed Clurichaun would jump and fly throughthe air, pinching anyone who failed to wear green on St. Patrick’s Day. Anyone who practices the 'wearing of the green' tradition, going outdrinking and pinching others who are not wearing green are taking onthe Spirit of the Clurichaun.

Celtic pagans were worshipers of demonic nature spirits and while under Romandomination, they adopted some of Rome’s gods as well. The beer drinking that is associated withSt. Patrick's Day had its origin in worship of the Roman god 'Dionysius', the god of beer or ale.

SYMBOLS and LIES SYMBOLS and LIES Celtic CrossSome say it was introduced by Patrick, to convert the pagan Irishto Christianity. Some of these pagans worshiped the sun, so it issaid that Patrick combined the Christian cross with the circularpattern of the sun as a way to associate light and life with theChristian cross in the minds of his converts. Another story hasPatrick marking the pagan symbol of the moon goddess with across, and blessing the stone, making the first Celtic cross.

THE TRUTH ISThe Druids worshiped “elementals” which are creatures that

evolved in the four elements of fire, air, earth and water. TheCeltic Cross represents the four directions of north, south, east

and west or the four elements; earth, fire, air and water.

SCRIPTURE TELLS US“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness,

but rather expose them.” - Ephesians 5:11

“You are not the same as those who don't believe. So don't join yourselves to them.Good and evil don't belong together. Light and darkness cannot share the same room. How canthere be any unity between Christ and the devil? What does a believer have in common with anunbeliever? God's temple cannot have anything to do with idols, and we are the temple of theliving God. As God said, "I will live with them and walk with them; I will be their God, and theywill be my people. So come away from those people and separate yourselves from them, saysthe Lord. Don't touch anything that is unclean, and I will accept you." - 2 Corinthians 6:14-17

Much of what people know about St. Patrick's Day are Lies and Fablesmade up by the god of this world, Satan.

“And the great dragon was cast out, that Old Serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast

out with him.” - Revelation 12:9They have been deceived into believing that they are honoring a 'Saint' when, in fact,

they are taking part in ancient Babylonian Baal (Nimrod) Worship!

Those people are doing the same exact things as the ancient pagans, only with a different name.

“You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was amurderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no

truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and theFather of Lies.” - John 8:44

In truth, people don't take the time to learn 'Why' they worship in the things they do.Or even 'Who' they are worshiping!

“You worship what you do not know; but we worship what we do know, for salvation isfrom the Jews. (meaning Yeshua)” - John 4:22

Yet another lie that has been passed down, is that'Saint' Patrick supposedly drove all the snakes out ofIreland and was even credited with a miracle for this! The Truth is... Ireland is an Island and there has NeverBeen many snakes anywhere in the land! There is a popular theory that the serpent was actually ametaphor for the early Pagan faiths of Ireland. The“snakes” that Patrick is credited for driving out of Irelandwere the Druidic priests, who had serpents tattooed ontheir forearms. However, the idea that Patrick physically drove the PaganDruids from Ireland is also a Lie! How do we know? They are still there! It's not uncommonto see Pagans wearing a snake symbol on St. Patrick's Day,instead of the green "Kiss Me I'm Irish" badges.

So how did this story come about? The Irish Rebellion of 1641 began as an attempted coup d'état ( government take over)

by Irish Catholic upper class, who tried to seize control of the English administration in Irelandto force special treatment for Catholics.

During this rebellion, many Protestants and Sabbath Observers were killed. This forcedthe government to create The Act of Settlement in August 1652. It stated that thoseaccused of killing Protestants at the outbreak of the rebellion were condemned to death orexile. This covered the vast bulk of the Roman Catholic population. The second clause excludedall Catholic clergy from pardon, and hundreds were subsequently killed or banished overseas.

During the remainder of the 1650s, the government transplanted over 40,000 peopleacross the River Shannon where they could be effectively corralled and controlled.

Between 1651 and 1654, as many as 40,000 Irishmen sailed for the Continent, often onEnglish merchant ships. Many of these exiles dreamed of returning home, but few ever did.

In 1655, as part of the war against Spain, an English fleet captured Jamaica. Shortlyafterwards, the government in Ireland arranged for over 2,000 Roman Catholics to betransported there in an attempt to repopulate the island.

Their descendants continue to reside in the Caribbean, particularly on the island ofMontserrat, where Irish surnames such as O’Connor, Fitzgerald and O’Carroll are still to befound today.

So, the TRUE snakes were theRoman Catholics who tried to takeover Ireland. But it happened in themid 1600's so Patrick had nothingto do with it! The mixture of lies and half-truths has people thinking it waseither Real Snakes or Pagan Druidsthat were driven out when inreality, it was the Roman Catholicsthemselves!

But as we learned earlier, RomanCatholicism began to take holdonce again in Ireland. The slow process of conformingthe people to Catholicism led tothe Catholic Emancipation in 1829. Now, throughout Ireland, over84% of the Irish people lay claimto Catholicism as their religion.

To show how much influence the Roman Catholic Church has had on the peoples of theCaribbean, we need only to look at their religion.. VOODOO!

Voodoo combines the elements of Roman Catholic ritual with traditional African Magical andReligious rites, and characterized by Sorcery and Spirit Possession. One of the chief gods isDamballah... Damballah is the primordial Snake-Spirit of Life, Wealth and Wisdom. He isworshiped in Dahomey as well as Haitian 'Vodou'.

He is also known as Damballah Weddo, Papa Damballa or Obatala. And he is recognized as a SERPENT diety. He is worshiped as theSupreme Allada or 'Sky Father' and his feast day is March 17th ! He is often represented in art as the Roman Catholic Saint Patrickand entwined with his 'wife' Ayida Wèdo, the RAINBOW Spirit.

It is also believed the Voodoo tradition that one will receive goodluck by grasping Aido Weyo’s diadem (the Rainbow)!

Both St. Brigid and St. Patrick are represented in thesaints/spirits of voodoo. St. Patrick is used to represent Damballah, the snake god while St. Brigid is incorporated as Maman Brigitte, afull voodoo saint.

VO OD O O AND CATHOlICIS M Maman Brigitte (English: Mother Brigitte) also written GranBrigitte, Grann Brigitte, Manman, Manman Brigit, andMaman Brijit, is a death spirit and the wife of BaronSamedi in Vodou (Voodoo). She drinks rum infused with hotpeppers and is symbolized by a black rooster. She is veryfoul-mouthed.

Brigitte is the only white Voodoo god, having her origins inIreland, and not in Africa or Haiti like other spirits. She isdescribed having brown or red-gold hair and emerald greeneyes, and is associated with Biróg or Brigid, the Celticgoddess of healing and life as well as St. Brigid.

“Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths.Rather train yourself for godliness;” - 1 Timothy 4:7

This holiday that is shamefully named after Patrick has it's roots in paganism and lies. Themyths and deceptions that surround 'St. Patrick's Day' are nothing new.

“And Judah did what was evil in the sight of YHWH, and they provoked Him to jealousy withtheir sins that they committed, more than all that their fathers had done. They built worship

sites for themselves and put up large memorial stones and groves (Asherah poles) to worship onevery high hill and under every Green tree.” - 1 Kings 14:22-23

'St. Patrick's Day' does nothing to bring glory to YHWH and it does nothing to bring honor orrespect to the person who celebrates it. “Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impuri ty, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shallnot inherit the kingdom of God.” - Galatians 5:19-21 (RSV)

There is NO GOLD at the end of a Rainbow! And there is No Such Thing as LUCK!

True Believers are given the promise that YHWH works allthings, whether seemingly good or bad, together for good tothose who love Him and are called according to His purpose!

Romans 8:28“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication withthanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses allunderstanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:6-7

Finally, 1st Peter warns us:“Strengthen yourselves so that you will live your lives here on earth doing what YHWH

wants, not the evil things that people want to do. In the past you wasted too much time doingwhat those who don't know YHWH like to do. You were living immoral lives, doing the evil thingsyou wanted to do. You were always getting drunk, having wild drinking parties, and doingshameful things in your worship of idols.”

“Now those "friends" think it is strange that you no longer join them in all the wild andwasteful things they do. And so they say bad things about you. But they will have to faceYHWH to explain what they have done. He is the one who will soon judge everyone—thosewho are still living and those who have died.” - 1 Peter 4:2-5

Grandpa Torah says - “Always stand up for what is right. Whatever is good and pleasing toYHWH should be our goal in everything we say and everything we do.Emulate (be like) our Messiah!”

Remember: “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, wheremoth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay upfor yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rustdestroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
