Phase 1

Brainstorming

Biblical Vibration: Psalm 133

“Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.”

Affirmation: God has a wonderful ministry/business planned for me.

Even if I do not know what that is, I will trust God to show it to me in His time.

I am capable, worthy, and ready to take the next steps.

In order to reach my goals, I must act according to my calling.

In order to sustain, I must act according to God’s Word.

In order to attain success and prosperity,

I must do my part by doing the necessary work.

With God on my side, NO weapon formed against me shall prosper.

God has anointed me. God chose me. I am a child of the Most High!

Today I declare victory over anything that is keeping me from what God has for

me; doubt, fear, insecurity, and ___________________ I cast it out.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Immanuel, I am free!

No more excuses, I welcome the Lord wholeheartedly into my life.

Instructions: Do your research. Answer the following question.

1. Why do the experts say “having a Business Plan is important”?

Now, let’s get ready to walk and work it out!

Business Planning Checklist

Biblical Vibration: Proverbs 16:3

“Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.” (NIV)

Affirmation: God is with me.

Anything that God has for me to do He will help me through.

I do not have to have all the answers; I have to be willing to do the necessary work,

pray for His will do be done, be ready to receive wise instruction,

moreover, trust God to lead me to the Promised Land He has for me.

Personal Testimony: The name the Training Solution came to me back in 2004. Although I had

no idea, what The Training Solution would become, the seed was planted. To protect myself, I registered my business name with the Pitt County Register of Deeds office. God had given me a name; however, The Training Solution was a sign of what was to come. The 3rd aspect of my business planning and exploration came with The Fountain of Inspiration Street Ministry.

The Fountain of Inspiration Street Ministry allowed me to essentially, “get my feet wet.” To see the needs of the community by taking part in activities and finding where my abilities, talents, and passions would be most beneficial. Also, it provided an opportunity to experience areas of ministry that interested me but did not ignite the fire within. Those activities were someone else’s calling, but the experiences prepared me to help these people with their callings from a prophetic, administrative, business planning, and counseling standpoint. Having a chronic pain disability seemed like an obstacle. God showed me how to turn my pain into a testimony of overcoming physical limitations, gaining mental and emotional strength, courage, faith, and wisdom to attain a higher purpose; depending not on might, rather on God.

Instructions: Your ideas do not have to be written in stone. Sometimes God may give you

hints or a vision to enable you to imagine possibilities so that when the time does come, you have the confidence to continue forward. Good starting points help build even stronger foundations. Please take some time to complete the questions below. If there are several answers to one question, list them all, and pray that God helps you to sort them out later.

o What is (or will be) your business name?

Page 4: The Training Solution’s...The 3rd aspect of my business planning and exploration came with The Fountain of Inspiration Street Ministry. The Fountain of Inspiration Street Ministry

o What is your motto?

o Do you have a logo? What is it? How does it relate to your business name or motto? Note or draw it here.

o Do you have a business card or business card ideas? Be authentic. Note or draw it here.

o Do you have an updated Resume? Print it out. If the answer is no, take time to update your resume.

o Do have a business website?

❖ What is (or will be) the proposed name of the website? List several possibilities.

o Are you (or do you plan to be) on social media? If so, what are (or will be) your handles?

❖ Do you watch your posts for inappropriate comments? Will you watch or monitor your social media page, if you choose to have a one?

❖ How much time does social media take from your day?

❖ What is the payoff? Has it, or how do you believe it will translate into business?

o Is your business name registered with the Register of Deeds in the county or counties where you will be doing business? List the counties where you plan on doing business.

o Do you have any plans to become a non-profit organization? If you plan to become a non-profit 501-C3, contact the IRS before filing your EIN, then contact an accountant or lawyer to discuss your options. Save yourself grief (and money) by doing your research ahead of time.

o Do you have a TAX Employer Identification Number (EIN)? If not, did you make more than $1,500 last year? The prior year?

o Do you have a business plan, notes, thoughts, or ideas? Gather them and place them in

a folder.

o Does your business need a license to run in North Carolina or your state?

o What will be your business’s “cause” or outreach? A cause is a passion outside of or closely related to your standard business practices that build ties and better connects your business with the overall community; building business credibility while fulfilling a need. For example, TTS has 2 causes. One being, the River of Hope Dental Outreach Ministry where dental care items are given to charitable organizations or individuals on a street level. Admittedly over the last few years, the River of Hope was successfully combined with other Outreach projects. If you do not have one, start thinking about your life experiences and researching possible options. Note your thoughts here.

Giving your Vision Life

Biblical Vibration: Proverbs: 29:18

“Where there is no vision, the people perish...”

Affirmation: I am special. God has chosen me to do something spectacular! I will not doubt.

I will work smarter, wiser, and with confidence.

Instructions: Answer the following question.

1. Why do you want this type of business or ministry? Be honest.

2. What type of services, products, or Outreach do you plan to offer?

3. What experiences do you have in providing these types of services or products, credentials? Do not let this question discourage you. Most of the disciples had no “formal ministry training.” When Jesus said, “follow me,” they did, and He taught them. Then the Holy Spirit was given to instruct further. Not having education or experience is not a hindrance; if you are willing to do your research and whatever God leads you to do in order to gain it. Trust God.

4. Who is your target market? (The people you want help, to buy or acquire your services.)

5. Have you done your research on similar businesses or ministries in the area? If so, what were your findings?

6. What makes your business or ministry different from others? What is your unique niche?

7. Where do you see your business or ministry going? Your long-term goals and desires.

8. What or who inspired you to do the Jumpstart Guide? Pray for them; they may see potential and promise in you.

9. How will your business or ministry help others?

10. Do you have any community connections that will help you to grow your business or ministry? List a few. If you do not have any relationships, it is okay. Time to build. Network and start with the places you frequent the most. Build upon those connections.

11. Have you prayed about this business or ministry? If yes, what do you think was God’s answer? If not, now would be a great time to pray. Answer this question when your prayer is answered.

Enrichment Assignment: WALKING ON YOUR path

Biblical Vibration & Affirmation: Philippians 4:13

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Instructions: Please read Matthew 25:14-30

1. Please note your thoughts.

2. What do you believe Jesus was trying to say?

3. List your talents, skills, and spiritual gifts. For example, foresight, empathy, compassion, administration, perception, a good listener, keeper of secrets, planning, or organization.

4. If you are unsure of your spiritual gifts, Prophetess Stephanie Spear’s Bible Decoder can help you to identify your spiritual gifts. Spiritual Gifts are those gifts that God allows the Holy Spirit and angels to anoint us with to help us fulfill our callings. For example, vision, perception, interpretation. Some people have visions; others can “hear,” and some are anointed to heal with a touch and prayer.

5. Have you secretly been thinking that you have special “powers,” gifts, or something

unique about you that other people do not? Please note your thoughts. Can you use these gifts or abilities in your business or ministry? If yes, how?
