ACTS Bible Study Interested in joining a small group Bible study? The Cathedral ACTS young adults group is currently meeting every other Monday at 7pm. Bishop’s Appeal for Vocations 2018 Thank you to those who gave towards the Bishop’s Appeal for Vocations. We reached our goal of $36,180.00 for this year’s appeal. To date, we have received $44,655.00 in pledges with $27,755.00 paid. If you turned in a card

Blood Pressure Checks
Blood pressures will be taken by the Cathedral nurses after the 7:30am, 9am, & 11am Masses this Sunday.
Christmas Craft Fair & Bake Sale
The Christmas Craft Fair and Bake Sale is Saturday, December 1 in the Cathedral School from 9am-4pm. Free admission. Over 40 craft vendors will have unique handcrafted items and homemade baked goods. Lunch and a visit from Santa is from 11am-1pm.
CSS Food Pantry
In November, all Lincoln parishes contribute cash or food to the CSS food pantry to guarantee all people have a
blessed and happy holiday season. Please leave food donations in the vestibule and cash donations in an envelope in the collection. Thank you!
CSS Winter Coat Drive
Winter coats are needed for the Catholic Social Services coat drive. From now until December 23, coats (especially men’s), hats, gloves, and winter apparel can be dropped off in the Christmas wrapped box in the vestibule during business hours. Thank you!
Divine Mercy Chaplet Ministry
Jesus said to St. Faustina, “Write that when they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between my Father and the dying person, not as a just judge but as a merciful Saviour.” St. Elizabeth Ann Seton LOTW community is available to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet with your loved one upon request, either at their home or privately at a LOTW member’s home. Eucharistic Procession at the Capitol Bishop Conley will lead a diocesan-wide Eucharistic Procession this Sunday at 3pm around the State Capitol. To help achieve the goal of 5,500 participants, Cathedral has been given a parish target goal of 400 people. Cathedral parish has been assigned Altar Area #1, which is located on the southeast corner of the capitol. Plan to arrive no later than 2:30pm. Knights Fall Breakfast The Knights Spring Breakfast is Sunday, November 11 in Rector’s Hall from 8am-11am. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, and yogurt parfait/granola will be served. All are invited to attend!

Parish Directory Update!
We currently have 350 fabulous parish families pictured in the new Parish Directory. Thank you to everyone who participated and to our generous advertisers! If you have NOT YET added your photo to the directory and still want to sneak your photo in, we will have volunteers available at the Knights Breakfast on Sunday, November 11 to assist you. We will have your username and password to help you sign in to the online directory, or you may bring your photo and we will accept it to scan. The directory won’t be complete without you! We will print directory books at the end of November, then they will be available to purchase for $10.
PCCW Trivia Night
The PCCW Trivia Night is Friday, November 9 in Rectors Hall. Cost is $10 per person. Make checks payable to PCCW. Please try to have tables of 8-10 people. Check-in begins at 6pm. Trivia begins at 7pm. Bring your own snacks and beverages. Prizes awarded for games between rounds. Proceeds go to fund altar linens, candles, and bread and wine. RSVP with the parish office or email [email protected].
Perpetual Adoration Program

Prayers for Our Nation Have you wanted to learn how to pray the Divine Office but didn’t know where to start? Join us at 5:30pm
on Mondays to pray the daily prayer of the Church (evening prayer and night prayer) in the east chapel. The intention is for our nation and nation’s leaders. Christian Prayer Books will be provided.
Pro-Life Rosary Please join us to pray a rosary for the unborn every Monday at 4:30pm in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel.
St. Anne’s Circle St. Anne’s Circle will meet in Rectors Hall after the 5pm Mass on Tuesday, November 13 due to the election. Bring a sack lunch. Hostesses are Bernice and Janice Ullman. Questions call Darlene at 402-489-5174.

Parking on School Days A pathway from Cathedral School to Cathedral church has been created using signs and a chained corridor. You will notice the area on all school days. We kindly ask you to avoid parking in these areas so our students can travel to and from the church for Mass, lunch, and other functions in a safe and efficient manner. St. Gianna’s Art & Gift Gallery Artists will display and sell their unique collection of Christian artwork and gifts on Friday, December 7 from 6pm-9pm and Saturday, December 8 from 9am-6pm in the Guadalupe Center at Gianna’s Java & Glato. 15% of all proceeds will benefit St. Gianna’s Women’s Homes in Lincoln.
