Thank you Saints Peter and Paul Church
My names is Tom Clifford. I am the person that won the new car raffle recently held at your church. I cannot begin to
tell you what a blessing this vehicle has been for us. We had not been able to afford a badly needed new car and was
not sure what I was going to do. Then I a=saw your flyer for the new car raffle and I figured “why not try.” Well, last
Sunday (February 14th) I received a phone call form Jim telling me I had won!. God truly is good, what a miracle!
Saying “Thank You” just isn’t enough, BUT THANK YOU Saints Peter and Paul Cathoic Church and Jim Price Auto!
I can rest a little easier now.
In Christ’s Love,
Tom Clifford

33-DAY CONSECRATION TO DIVINE MERCY
DIVINE MERCY DEFINITION “Mercy is Love that seeks to relieve the misery of others. It is an active love, poured out upon others to heal, to comfort, to console, to forgive, to remove pain. It is the love that God offers us and it is the love He demands from us for each other.” DIVINE MERCY WORKS Not only do we read in Scripture that we should be “Doers of the Word” (James 1:19 ff) and that “Faith and Works”
go together (James 2:14 ff) and that “Faith Without Works is dead!” (James 2:26) but, we now hear it from Jesus
himself as He tells Sr. Faustina:
“I demand from you deeds of mercy which are to arise out of love for Me. You are to show mercy to your
neighbors always and everywhere. You must not shrink from this or try to excuse yourself from it … Even
the strongest faith is of no avail without works.” (Diary, 742). “If a soul does not exercise mercy in some
way, it will not obtain My mercy on the day of judgment.” (Diary, 1317) “How do we exercise mercy? Through our actions, our words and our prayers, by performing the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy and by developing an attitude of mercy in our daily lives.”
CORPORAL WORKS OF MERCY SPIRITUAL WORKS OF MERCY
Feed the hungry Admonish sinners Give drink to the thirsty Instruct the uninformed Clothe the naked Counsel the doubtful Shelter the homeless Comfort the sorrowful Comfort the imprisoned Be patient with those in error Visit the sick Forgive offenses Bury the dead Pray for the living and the dead
Become Doers of the Word in imitation of St. John Paul II, also known as the “Mercy Pope”, who has given
us the Feast of Divine Mercy on the Sunday after Easter; St. Faustina and all the great saints and our
current Holy Father, Pope Francis, who has given us this special Jubilee Year of Mercy. Mother Angelica,
foundress of the EWTN TV and Radio Network, stated “we are all called to be saints, don’t miss the
opportunity.” May be now is the time to join the Legion of Mary?
The above quotes were taken from “The Divine Mercy Message and Devotion” Handbook,
published by the Marian Press in Stockbridge, MA.

Living Our Mission - Developing Future Leaders
Across the Diocese we have been blessed to see a significant increase in young people participating in the life of the Church. In order to respond to this positive momentum, the Living Our Mission campaign will build a fund for the current and future growth of our youth and young adult ministry programs which involve such opportunities as work camps, mission trips, retreat experiences and enhanced speaker and performer events. With this support, our Diocese will foster transformational opportunities to root our young people in the faith so they embrace Christ’s mission in their early years and throughout their lives.
