We’ve been busy getting ready!! Our VBS is set for July 22-26, and our planning team has been working hard coming up with crafts, snacks, and games that go along with this year’s theme, which is: ATHENS Paul’s Dangerous Journey to Share the Truth! This is such a fitting theme for our church since many of our congregation just returned from the Pilgrimage in Greece. What fun it will be for those that went to share their experience with the kids!

Can you help with supplies? We are in need of some supplies to make this year’s VBS a success. Please find a list of donation items at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4aafa823a0f49-stpeters1 craft items can be dropped off in Tucker Hall the week of July 15th!

You can come help - It’s FUN! If you are interested in volunteering please email [email protected] or sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60b0545a8ae28aaf85-vacation “

Welcome our New Children's and Youth Minister!

We are delighted to welcome Mr. Brian Blacklock to our St. Peter’s staff!

Beginning July 22, Brian will serve as our new Children’s and Youth Minister.

I am especially grateful to our search team for their hard

work and prayerful dedication to the search process.

Brian has the skills, experience, and desire to raise up disciples in our Episcopal Church, and he makes a great

addition to our staff. Please join us in welcoming Brian and his family to our St. Peter’s family!

A Message from Brian:

Howdy from Colorful Colorado! Hello St. Peter’s Episcopal Church! My wife Abby and I, along with our crew of four kiddos, are excited to join you in Kerrville later this summer and serve your parish as the new Children’s and Youth Minister. Although we both hail from the suburbs of southwest Houston, Abby and I have been faithfully serving the Lord in Colorado for the past decade(ish). I have spent 12 years in full-time ministry working with children, youth, and young adults. Abby has not only been my partner in ministry, she also serves our community as a private counselor working with teens, adults, and couples. Currently, I am the executive director of a non-denominational youth organization in Breckenridge, CO. It may be June 22nd, but we officially have 2 inches of fresh snow on the ground! We are excited to leave the snow behind and return to our roots in the greatest state of the Union. We cannot wait to meet all of you and bring our gifts to the Texas Hill Country. Coming with us to Texas will be Bella (6), Madison (5), Caleb (3), Grace (11 mo.) and our 12-year-old Siberian Husky, Anastasia. When not hanging out with teenagers, you will often find us riding bikes, fishing, or camping out of old 4WD trucks. We love adventure and we look forward to what God has in store for us in this next chapter of our family’s life. When we get to town, I would love to sit down over a cup of black coffee and hear your story! Your brother in Christ, Brian Blacklock
