His main concern is the fire department being able to provide emergency services with Georgetown’s ever increasing population. The prevention of accidents in our homes is another concern. Chief Sullivan believes also that more people should be trained to use CPR. Happy Bucks ($48) Many members were happy to be present while others were happy to be Rotarians.
Don Mabry was proud of his champion Lady Baylor Bears. Rotarians in the News We are glad that Mike McGaughan (Bloomington, IL) has made our club a part of his winter home in Texas. Rotary District Training Conference -‐ April 18 This training session is recommended for all incoming officers and new Board members. The sessions are very informative, and the club pays the registration fees. Early Act/First Knight John Schwebke is looking for members to join this committee. Important Dates/ Events May 1-‐3 Joint District Rotary Conference in San Antonio April 18 District Training Conference in Killeen May 29 Second Annual Rotary Dinner/Dance June 7-‐10 RI Convention in Sao Paulo, Brazil Today’s Program Rotary Fest raffle tickets will be distributed, and
Saint Patrick’s Day will also be celebrated. Future Programs March 24 Tickets will be sold for the Dinner/Dance: Individual Tickets -‐ $40, a table for $ 400. Karen Crosby also speaks about the Locker Program.
