The State of Housing

We are a group of organizations and individuals who

love Pittsburgh and value its history and diversity. We

seek to ensure the resurgence of Pittsburgh’s economy

and housing market includes all.

We focus on policies and programs that affect the city

as a whole to ensure that all residents, especially those

with low incomes and communities of color, benefit

from housing development in the city, especially where

public resources are invested.

Clear concentration of significant (private) resources into market rate development in highly concentrated areas. Pittsburgh has not seen this level of simultaneous investment in decades – are we equipped to ensure everyone benefits – both for the people living in the geographies where the investment is happening as well as the Pittsburgher‘s who live outside of the hot zones
