This is reported to be the fii^t time in some years that Rox- buiy has gone over their quota, and that Roxbury is way ah«ul of many ->ther area towns in this respect this year. There were about a dozen ladies from Hal- cottville who attaided the meet- ing. Drives New Trud^ Howard Slauson, salesman for the Gulf Oil company, is driving a new panel truck to be used for his sales work. Hie former truck was wrecked several weeks ago near Walton. Carl G. Rowe, formerly of Laurens has been spending time in this village with friends Md relatives. Mr. Rowe is a former resident of Bragg hoUow. Dale Blakeslee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Blakeslee of Grand CJorge, spent time last week as the guest of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Avery. Transferred to Albany Elmer G. Bussy, ill for many months in and out of ho^ital, has been spending several weeks in Margaretville hospitiQ. He did not respond , to treatment and was transferred Sunday to the Albany hospital. Have New Daughter Mr. and Mrs. James C. Kelly are the parents of a daughter bom late Sunday night at the Mar- garetville hospital. Mrs. Kelly is the former Miss Louise Dimham of Prattsville. The little girl weighed eight pounds four ounces and has been named Joann. Scott H. Clark became ill Sat- urday. He is still confined to his home with the virus. He is re- covering slowly. Aaron Constable was ill last weekend and was attended by Dr. C. K. Ives of Roxbury. He is improved. Onteora Music Group' To Present Concert Boiceville, April 8.—^The Onte-- ora central school string ensemble will be heard 4n the annual spring concert to be held at the Boioe- ville sdiool auditorium on the evening of May 11. String dasses were organized at Onteora in September, 1956. This year 60 students from grades 3 to 10 are receiving instruction. In 1958 a cello class was started, and in 1959-^violas were added to the group. Tickets for the concert will go (HI sale the week of April 25 at the sdiool. Hdcets will also foe sold at the door. Plan Bake Sale The annual before-Easter bake sale will be held Satiu^ay, April 16, at 2 o’clock at Douglas Kelly’s store. Cwnmittees have been ai^inted to carry out the bake ^ale. The next meeting will be held April 18 with guest speakers Mr. and Mrs. WUbur Cleveland, county deputy and wife. Twenty- five year members of the Wawaka Grange will receive pins and cer- tificates. O nteora Music Group' To Present Concert

Boiceville, April 8.—^The Onte-- ora central school string ensemble will be heard 4n the annual spring concert to be held a t the Boioe- ville sdiool auditorium on the evening of May 11.

String dasses w ere organized a t Onteora in September, 1956. This y ear 60 students from grades 3 to 10 are receiving instruction. In 1958 a cello class was started , and in 1959-^violas w ere added to the group.
