PASTOR NOMINATING COMMITTEE UPDATE:

As we announced in November we conducted an on-site interview with a potential candidate for our open pastoral position. After frank discussions, questions and answers it confirmed our initial thoughts and discussions on qualifications that the fit was there. We issued Terms of Call and awaited the candidate’s decision as to acceptance. The candidate decided not to accept our open position here at KMUPC. We, as all of you, I am sure, are as disappointed as we were. We continue to review and qualify PIF’s as we continue

the search process.

During the Advent season we lit the candles of the Advent wreath, the first being Hope. It reinforced us in our journey to seek the candidate God directs us to. We trust God in this decision process. We again ask you for your prayers of support as we continue in this search for our next pastor and pray with us that God will

direct us to the candidate that is the best fit for us at KMUPC.
