Quin. A Note from Fr. Quealy We remember in our hearts, minds and prayers this Memorial Day all those who made the supreme sacrifice so that we are able to live our lives here in America in freedom and justice. Let us also pray for all who, right now, are placing themselves in harm’s way, our military, our police and fire persons, and all who serve our country. To all of them we say a big THANK YOU! God Bless, Fr. Quealy Today is May’s Brown Bag Sunday. All food donations should be left in the community room. For those wishing to make a monetary donation, checks should be made out to Feeding Westchester*and placed in the basket at the altar or given to the volunteer in the community room. Last month you donated 294 pounds of food and $1,673. Every $1 collected buys $4 to $7 worth of food. Many employers offer a matching gift program. Please check with your employer --your donation to Feeding Westchester may qualify. The need is great - but so is the generosity of our Parishioners. May God bless you. *Food Bank for Westchester has been re-named Feeding Westchester – only the name is different: the organization, mission and location are still the same. ~~~~~~~~ The 38 th Annual $20,000 Gala Raffle & Dinner will take place THIS Friday, June 1 st at 7:30 pm at the school. Tickets are $150 each and include admission for two (2) to the gala dinner, live music and open bar. Tickets may be purchased by calling Barbara in the school office at 914-761-0124 or Elizabeth DiLullo at 917-804-0827, as well as the Rectory office and at Sir John's Restaurant. Only 450 tickets will be sold, so buy your ticket soon . See the flyers on the tables in the church vestibules for more information. ~~~~~~~~ O.L.S. is participating in a Baby Bottle Drive for the babies and mothers helped by Expectant Mother Care (EMC), the largest and oldest pregnancy center organization in the NYC area. When you leave the church after Mass, please take a baby bottle home and fill it with donations until Father’s Day. Please return all bottles with donations to the rectory. Our Lady of Good Counsel Guild will hold an end of year prayer service and luncheon on Wednesday, June 6th at 12noon at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in the Clock Tower Building, Rosedale Room – 2nd Floor. There is no cost for members; non-members are asked to pay $20. Please make your reservation (include check payable to Good Counsel Guild if non-member) to Mrs. Eunice Pinto, 300 Martine Avenue, Apt. 7E, White Plains, NY 10601 (914-761-4912). Due to limited parking, carpooling is encouraged.

-O.L.S. School Gala Raffle in the school at 7:30pm First Saturday, 6/2: The Rosary is recited in the

church prior to the 9am Mass. The first collection on Sunday, May 20, 2018 was $9,360

and the second collection for Latin America and Home Missions was $1,990.
