LUTHER, CONTINUED We ask God to answer our prayers by His grace, for we do sin and deserve punishment, and need to rely on His forgiveness.

HOW SURE WE ARE OF FORGIVENESS: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8-9.)

WHAT IF WE DON’T FEEL LIKE FORGIVING?God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (Romans 5:5.)
