THE LORD STRETCHES OUT THE HEAVENS

God put prophecy in the stars2. Then astrology perverted the signs and the times of the signs. Astrology

says the stars determine your future: this is fortune telling, which the Bible condemns. The truth is God

has determined the future and foretold it in detail in the heavenly signs: this glorifies Yahweh as Creator.

THESIS OF THIS PAPER

We now have six millennia of history with which to test the hypothesis: God put prophecy in the Stars.

This paper will go back in time and compare historical events with the heavenly signs, each according to

its season, and validate that the Heavenly Signs correctly aligned with real events which took place on

Earth. In so doing, we will also sharpen our understanding of the interpretation of the Star Signs.

This paper is advanced. We assume the reader is familiar with our other papers which lay the

foundation for this research: Prophecy in the Stars – Basic ; Prophecy in the Stars – Expanded ;

Prophecy in the Stars – Advanced . Many other papers are also available on our page: 7.0 STARS .

Truth in the Bible not only aligns with Truth in the Stars, they mirror each other. We have shown there

is a one-to-one correspondence between each of the 50 chapters of Genesis and each of the 50 Signs.

Genesis is the seed-bed of all Bible prophecy. The Signs are the seed-bed of Genesis. Prophecy comes

to us in both written form (Scripture) and pictorial form (Star Signs). We provide an Appendix to this

paper matching each Star Sign to its associated chapter number in Genesis and Book in the Bible. In this

way we can match History not only to Star Prophecy but also to written prophecy as well. Hallelujah!

We will take as start and end points of our calibration dates that are clear Biblical markers of the

beginning and end of an epoch [or ‘dispensation’]:

JUSTIFICATION OF ASSUMPTIONS OF CALIBRATION

Question: Why Two Cycles of Star Signs between the First Passover and the Last Supper?

Answer: Each 24 Hour Cycle of Star Signs is one Prophetic “DAY” (just as there are 24 hours in one solar

day); Jesus clearly taught “The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and

chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and ON THE THIRD DAY be raised” (Luke 9 v 22). In order for

Jesus to be raised on the THIRD DAY, TWO DAYS must have been completed prior to his death, i.e. at the

Last Supper. So, we must insert two full Cycles of Star Signs between first and last Passover.

Question: How sure are you about the date of the Last Supper?

Answer: The date of the Last Supper is disputed. Wikipedia says: “Historians estimate that the date of

the crucifixion fell in the range AD 30–36. Physicists such as Isaac Newton and Colin Humphreys have

ruled out the years 31, 32, 35, and 36 on astronomical grounds, leaving 7 April AD 30 and 3 April AD 33

as possible crucifixion dates.” The Author accepts the AD 30 date because this year matches up to

prophecy. Using the one-verse equals one-year method of matching prophecy to history, AD 30

corresponds to Isaiah 1 v 30 “For you shall be like an oak whose leaf withers, and like a garden without

water.” Jesus was the green leaf that withered on the Tree (Cross). Not wishing for us to miss this

important prophetic fulfilment on the Cross Jesus cried “I thirst!”: He was “like a garden without water.”

The spiritual number 30 means “Blood” (exquisitely appropriate); for in this year He shed His blood for

the remission of sins. Since Jesus was born in 7 BC (Songs 6 v 10), this would make Jesus 37 years old at

His Death. The spiritual number 37 means “Chosen Servant”. Interestingly, the star Arcturus is 37 light

years away from Earth. Arcturus is the brightest star in the constellation Bootes [which we call “Good

Shepherd”]. Arcturus means “He Comes” and occurs in the 14th Hour of the Heavenly Signs. The

spiritual number 14 means “Righteous”. Jesus was the sinless sacrifice that came to save us!

Question: How sure are you of the date of the First Passover?

Answer: Interestingly none of the plagues of Egypt marred the buildings. Crops and animals died.

People died. The Egyptian army perished. But houses and temples were untouched. No surprise

archeologists have failed to find evidence of an Exodus. Hence there is no secular date for the Exodus

verified by science. What we have done is carefully count backwards according to the Biblical account of

the timing of the construction of Solomon’s Temple, the span of the reigns of the Kings of Judah, the

span of the rule of the Judges, the forty years of wandering in the desert, as far back as the Exodus.

Honestly, we must admit we could be off in our date for the First Passover by a year, or two, or maybe a

few. Somewhere in all our careful counting backwards of the dozens of Biblical dates we may have

erred or misunderstood. However, we don’t think we could be off by much. Even if we were off by as

much as three years that would mean our estimated span of 1524 years is still 99.8% accurate.3

Later in the paper we will show how well the Star Signs align with History using our calibration method.

Match up to History will be the acid test of whether the assumptions of the calibration were correct.

THE LORD STRETCHED OUT THE HEAVENS

If there are two full Cycles of Star Signs and twenty-four hours in each Cycle of Star Signs, then there are

forty-eight hours of prophetic time between the First Passover and the Last Supper.

Given there are 1524 years in that span there are 31.75 years / Prophetic Hour (i.e. 1524/48)

In a solar year there are twelve months. Each month is 30.417 solar days. There are twelve primary Star

Signs on the path of the Sun through the sky, i.e. on the Ecliptic. So, on average a primary Star Sign

corresponds to 30.417 solar days.

The span of a prophetic “Hour” at 31.75 years is higher than the average span of a primary Star Sign at

30.417 solar days. How can this be? The Bible gives us a clue:

“This is what God the Lord says: the CREATOR OF THE HEAVENS, WHO STRETCHES THEM OUT,

who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people,

and life to those who walk on it:” (Isaiah 42 v 5)

A Prophetic Hour stretches out over a longer span (31.75 years) than a Primary Star Sign (30.417 days)

A clue this is in the Divine Wisdom is Ophiuchus’ feet. Ophiuchus is the only Star Sign that crosses the

path of the Sun that is not one of the twelve primary Star Signs. Ophiuchus is a wrestler whose body lies

mostly above the Ecliptic. But the feet of Ophiuchus cross Ecliptic: His left foot slams down on the back

of Scorpius and his right foot is suspended above the Stinger: i.e. the proverbial heel Satan will strike.

Having provided some evidence to support our calibration assumptions, we will move on to testing the

validity of our thesis by matching up History to the Star Signs.

A Prophetic Hour stretches out 4.4% farther than an

average Primary Star Sign (31.75/30.417 = 1.044).

Based on the diagram (see left) Ophiuchus’ feet span a

bit more than one hour on the Ecliptic. One hour of

Ecliptic is 1/24th or 4.2% of the total length.

The author likes to think of Ophiuchus’ feet pushing

Ecliptic down, distending the line into a loop that

bypasses His feet. Conceptually this would keep the

integrity of the primary Star Signs as the only Signs on

Ecliptic and it could theoretically extend the length of

Ecliptic by 4.4% and make the span of a Prophetic Hour

the same as the span of an average primary Star Sign.

How else might the Lord stretch out the Heavens?

convince the reader our calibration makes sense. We provide below dozens of matches of history to

GREECE (Auriga “Goat Dances in Lap of Monarch”)12. Interesting, beneath Orion is Lepus “The Scheme”

or “The Net / Trap”. Some believe Alexander said “to Craterus” but his generals twisted his words “to

krateroitus” (‘the strongest’). Alexander’s will detailed his plans for his Empire and underlined his

intention to take every measure possible to ensure its unity and tranquility. The general’s scheme to

partition the Empire among them became a snare and civil war persisted for decades. Greeks!!

In Roman mythology the City of Rome was founded by Romulus and Remus, who were orphans suckled

by a she-wolf. Romulus killed his brother Remus and established a kingdom. Rome identifies itself with

a wolf! A wolf is viscous, territorial, and without scruples. The wolf is the top dog! During the Punic

Wars with Carthage Rome treacherously broke peace agreements and annexed territory. Rome was

proud of her laws, but with regard to foreign powers she had no honor whatsoever. The red star Sirius

is the brightest in the sky, but Canis Major is far South of Ecliptic: deep in darkness and soaked in blood.

In 168 BC (9.7) Antiochus IV Epiphanes sniffs a revolt in Judah. He sacks the city, massacres inhabitants,

desecrates the Temple, suppresses Jewish practices, and promotes Greek culture and pagan religion. In

167 BC the ultra-conservative Maccabees revolt and pursue a guerilla war against the Seleucid Empire

and set about to purge Judah of Hellenized Jews. In 160 BC (10.0) Demetrius defeats them but then is

defeated in 150 BC (10.3) by a usurper: Alexander Balas. In 145 BC (10.5) Demetrius II defeats Balas.

All this while Rome is conspiring with the Jews: in 142 BC (10.6) Simon becomes both high priest and

ruler of Judah. The next year the elders confirm him. In 139 BC (10.7) Rome recognizes Hyrcanus, who

is descended from the brother of Judas Maccabeus, and the Hasmonean dynasty is legitimized.

In 135 BC (10.8) Hyrcanus becomes high priest and ruler. He robs David’s tomb to pay tribute to

Antiochus VII and keep him from attacking; Hyrcanus reigns as governor under Seleucid over-lordship.

Is Leo a prophetic type of the “Lion of the Tribe of Judah”? The Maccabean rebels? Hyrcanus? We think

not. Rather Leo “Unclean Cat Eats” is a type of: “Your enemy the Devil prowls around like a roaring lion

seeking whom to devour” (1 Peter 5 v 8). Surely in those days this is how Jews viewed the Seleucids.
