Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition is visual artistic technique when different things collaborate through

contradiction. The image of opposites tell a story.

Difference in elements that could be used are things like:• Height• Age• Colours• Textures• Light• Shapes• Landscape

• This photo shows two buildings which one on bottom right is old, triangle shaped that has detailed texture & made in brick and cement. The other is new, tall cuboid that is made in glass building.

• This photo shows 2 things that are part of our world are juxtapose together. The car on bottom left is one of man made lines shaped and a metallic vehicle of technology & the tree on the top-right is naturally grown, tall, environmental object of mother nature with branches and leaves organically growing.

This photo showcases two shoes juxtaposed that have different style and different types of shoe. A Converse brand shoe is on the right side of the photo it is a causal sneaker that in cotton fabric and has rubber bottom soles. The shoe that is on left side of the photo named Doc’s Martians which is formal, classic style boots that are military in style and made in leather.

This photo shows 2 cars and each of them are from different time eras. The navy blue classic car on the right is look like something from late 40’s and 50’s. the silver modern car on the left is probably from this decade or late 2000s.
