PRAYERS FOR OUR RELATIVES & FRIENDS SERVING IN THE MILITARY Safety Committee
Thank you to all the volunteers that are participating on the Safety Committee. These women and men have spent hours cleaning both our Churches as well as the Adoration Chapel and, marking them for social distancing. They are also offering their time as Ambassadors at every Mass to seat and guide parishioners during the temporary changes to the Liturgy. Please follow the direction of these ministers so that Mass will be safe for all. We would not be open this weekend without their sacrifice of time. We are working with a limited group and need more volunteers on the Safety Committee. The only way we can continue to celebrate Mass is with guidance and social distancing. If you are able to assist during a Mass we need you during this temporary time of change. This will keep Mass available to all those that wish to come worship and receive Jesus as a community. If you would like to join this team please, contact Deacon Paul at [email protected]. Thank you, welcome back and May God Bless you all. Deacon Paul
Parish Offices are Open
We are asking that everyone either call or email the rectory before coming
to the rectory. If you are looking to purchase a Mass card, we ask that you call and we will hand it through the door. We thank you for
this time of transition and we look forward to seeing everyone soon.

FROM THE PASTORS DESK
Good Day to all reading this bulletin. As expected, we had a small turnout our first weekend of public Masses. We thank those who came to worship. We remind everyone that we have been encouraged to have Sunday Mass on TV which we will be doing throughout the Summer. For those who come to Mass, we are required to show that we are meeting the State and Diocesan guidelines. Please continue to call or email between Monday to Friday until 4PM, leaving your name and number of people in your party, if you need handicapped access and which Church you would like to attend. If the number exceeds what we are allowed, we may have to turn people away and that would be unfortunate. We hope that does not happen. Thank you to all those who continue to support our Church through online giving, who mail in envelopes, and those who come to Church. There is a clearly marked Offering Box in each church, as we are no longer “taking up” the collection. We will begin celebrating baptisms and funerals soon with guidelines in place. The many funerals homes we deal with will be notified of the changes that now need to be followed. While people will be choosing readings and music, the Church will provide a reader. There is no congregational singing allowed. We have also ended the practice of Words of Remembrance (some call them Eulogies). We will also offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation again. At Saint Bridget’s, it will be offered on Monday Evenings from 6:45-7:45PM beginning June 8th. The front door of the Church will be open, and Confession will be to the right of the Sanctuary. At Holy Ghost, they will be offered on Wednesday Evenings from 7-8PM beginning June 10th. Confession will be heard in Glennon Hall. Those attending the Sacrament may wait in the Chapel Pews. FYI the priest must sanitize the area after each penitent leaves. Thank you for your patience. Please remember to wear a mask for the sacrament. We needed to change locations because neither current confessional area could meet the guidelines and 6-foot distancing rule and acoustical issues. Please be aware, confessions will only be heard face to face as well. Our Saint Bridget’s School is having end of year parades for our students and to celebrate our eighth-grade graduating class. While graduation has not taken place yet, school will be officially over for the eighth-grade so we thank them for their kindness during the years at our school. We hope they have had a good learning experience and we pray for them as they prepare for the High School Chapter of their life. Sorry for the shortness of this note. God Bless you All on this Feast of the Holy Trinity Fr. Tom We know that many students are graduating this year. To
all those graduates we would like to pray for you. Loving God, we thank you for all who graduate from grade school, high school and college this time of the
year. You have blessed them during their years in school with wisdom, friendships, and skills. You continue to
challenge them to make this world a better place because of their education.
Help them to look forward to their next steps: continuing in their education or entering the work world. Particularly
help those who are seeking employment to find a job suitable to their education.
Give them faith and a sense of purpose in their next steps.
Show them how to serve others in effective ways. And may they be always be aware in everything they do that they will find fulfillment in doing your will, that you
will be with them always, and that you will being to completion the good work you have begun in them.
Amen.
