  Position:  Support Services Clerk – Technical Services     28 hours/week, includes evening and weekend hours Department:  Support Services Salary:   $11.50 per hour  Primary Job Duties: Under the supervision of the Head of Support Services, performs a variety of support functions for the library’s automated Polaris system. Primary job duties include downloading item records, performing copy cataloging, saving records to the library’s Polaris system software, linking and withdrawing catalog items in the automated database. An employee in this position may be assigned specific tasks or multiple tasks depending upon operational needs, working hours, prior experience or expertise.  Required Qualifications:

Information Technology - IT SUPPORT TECHNICIANNon-Union, At-Will Position – Full Time, Year Round

POSITION SUMMARY:

The St. Clair County RESA IT department is seeking a IT Support Technician with experience maintaining and managing network and desktop level technologies.

The IT Support Technician is a member of the Networking Team in the Information Technology department of approximately 30 staff members. This position will be responsible for managing and maintaining end user devices and software in an enterprise environment. The IT Support Technician will also play a key customer service role and servicing multiple clients. This position will directly report to the Networking Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent the high level of customer service that the RESA IT Department has built its reputation on

Provide tier 2 customer support to users for all desktop and connectivity related issues Provide technical support, including installation, configuration, and upgrades of all client

systems including PCs, iPads, Chromebooks, Printers, Projectors, and other user facing technology

Support multiple Operating Systems including Windows, Mac OSX, Apple iOS, ChromeOS Install and configure end user software Assist in structured cabling projects such as running and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 wiring Actively participate in the design and implementation of frequent new technical projects and

initiatives Create and maintain technical documentation such as diagrams and configuration

management. Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, which may include afterhours and weekend work. Some local travel throughout the county will be required and compensated for.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in related technical field or equivalent experience required, preferably with 1-2 years experience in PC/Printer support and maintenance

Information Technology - VOIP TECHNICIANNon-Union, At-Will Position – 12 months

POSITION SUMMARY:

The St. Clair County RESA IT department is seeking a VOIP Technician with experience administering VOIP phone systems and installing structured cabling.

The Phone Technician is a member of the Engineering Team in the Information Technology department. The technician will be primarily responsible for phone system maintenance and administration for multiple customers. This position will also be the primary technician responsible for structured cable installation and maintenance. This position will directly report to the Engineering Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, implement and support VOIP phone systems for multiple clients Tier 2/3 support of multiple phone system types including Mitel, Avaya, Shoretel Administer call accounting, and voicemail systems Work directly with phone carriers to troubleshoot and fix issues Provide end user support via phone, email, and onsite assistance Create and maintain all related documentation Configure system monitoring and alert tools, and ensure that system availability is

maintained Installation, termination and maintenance of structured Cat5e/Cat6 and fiber cabling Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, which may include afterhours and weekend work. Some local travel throughout the county may be required on occasion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

MICROSOFT SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Non-Union, At-Will Position – Full Time, Year Round

POSITION SUMMARY:

The St. Clair County RESA IT department is looking for a Systems Engineer with extensive experience with Active Directory and Windows Systems Administration.

The Systems Engineer is a member of the Engineering Team in the Information Technology department. This position will act as a key technical resource on Windows server systems and Active Directory infrastructure to the SCCRESA IT department of approximately 30 staff members. The Engineer will work with project teams to implement best practice solutions for Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, VMware, and related technologies. The Engineering team directly reports to the Network Engineering Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design, implement and support Microsoft Windows 2008 - 2012R2 server platforms and common services such as AD, DNS, DHCP, DFS, IIS, etc.

Develop and maintain Active Directory and Group Policy infrastructure for multiple separate domain structures for multiple clients.

Experience in conducting system migrations and upgrades Along with other engineers, maintain approximately 125+ Microsoft Windows servers running

on VMware and bare metal hosts. Ensure server implementations are efficient, effective, documented, and adhere to standards

and best practices. Understand and utilize Powershell and other automation tools to create efficiencies in

systems administration. Create and maintain technical documentation such as diagrams and configuration

management. Actively participate in the design and engineering of frequent new technical projects and

initiatives. Assist in managing VMware architecture and UCS Blade System. Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, which may include afterhours and weekend work. Some local travel throughout the county will be required on occasion.

The Board of Trustees of the Crawford County (MI) Library is inviting applications for the position of Director. The Crawford County Library includes the main library in Grayling and a branch in Frederic. The library system serves a population of nearly 14,000, with a budget of just over $515,000 and a staff of fifteen (15). The Library system enjoys strong community support and prides itself on providing excellent customer service through its friendly staff.

Crawford County is located in north-central Michigan’s Lower Peninsula. Much of the county’s land area is in the AuSable State and Huron Manistee National Forests.
