An in-text citation occurs in the text of your essay – NOT on a separate document at

the end of your essay.

Any time you directly quote from a source or even

paraphrase an idea, you need to provide an in-text

citation.

Internet policies in workplaces have become increasingly strict. Companies of all kinds – finance, education, processing, shipping – are restricting the use of the internet amongst employees. Nancy Flynn shares, “Internet policies have transformed in the past 10 years from being practically non-existent to growing into entirely separate departments” (Flynn 14). It is very common for companies to monitor employees, including personal email, and restrict them from sites that are considered recreation.
