and broken her hip. Please keep her in your prayers. Gerry Montgomery led the Pledge of Allegiance and “The Star Spangled Banner.” Richard Stanford, assisted by Andy Carothers with the mike, introduced our visitors and guests. including PDG Frank Meyers Nolan Duck introduced our Market-place Advertiser of the week. President Eric

of the new building was PDG Frank Meyers. Currently, the museum is featuring the works of Barbara Hines on the Holy Land and Egypt. Another featured exhibit are the works of Jeff-rey Brosk of wood with silver and gold. There is also an exhibition of maps of the Holy Land, dating from the sixteenth century to the pre-sent. They are now working on a new project, a replica of the Via Dolorosa, or “Way of Sor-row.” It will feature fourteen life size bronzes by Gib Singleton. The Charles C. Ryrie collec-tion of Bibles is one of the most important rare Bible collections in the world. It contains over one hundred bibles, pages and fragments. Among their other works are seventeen copies of the works of Michelangelo. Prior to World War II, Mussolini had casts made of the great sculptures, fearing that they would be destroyed in the war. Recently, they have been made available for a limited number of replicas to be made. Another attraction is a mural “The Resurrection” by internationally-known artist Ron DiCanni. This mural has re-ceived a lot of publicity, and many people come to the museum just to see this mural. The museum is non-denominational; there is a Jewish Ceremonial Gallery, as well as con-temporary galleries with art from African-American and Hispanic artists. He said he is also very proud of their art restoration laboratory.

The program closed early so that we could see the museum. Each RCPC member also received two tickets to visit the museum again.

introduced our newest member Bennett Taylor. PP Linda Tunnell announced plans for the Holiday Party. Bill Clark

reminded us of the new location for the meeting on December 12 at the Salvation Army; it will be at the Adult Rehabi-litation Center at Inwood and Harry Hines.

Roger Diebel introduced our speaker today, Scott Peck, Direc-tor and Curator of the Museum of Biblical Art. He said that the

Museum was founded in 1967, but burned in 2005. He remarked that it was a metaphor of rebirth, when the museum has recovered from that loss. He said that the museum had existing connections with Rotary, in that the architect

A woman was sitting at a bar en-joying an after work cocktail with her girlfriends when Steven, a tall, hand-some, middle-aged man entered. He was so striking that the woman could not take her eyes off him.

This man noticed her attentive stare and walked directly toward her. Before she could offer her apologies for staring so rudely, he leaned over and whispered to her, "I'll do abso-lutely anything that you want me to for $20 – On one condition." Intrigued, the woman asked

what the condition was. The man replied, "You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three words."

The woman considered his proposition for a moment and then slowly removed a $20 bill from her purse, which she pressed into the man's hand, along with her ad-dress. She looked deeply into his eyes, barely con-cealing her anticipation, and slowly and meaningfully said, "Clean My House."
