No hay platicas en Diciembre.

Por favor no traiga hijos grandes a la plática,

solo bebes en brazo.

Entrege el acto de Nacimiento en la oficina

una semana antes de ir a la plática.

Llevarlos verstidos de blanco el dia del

bautismo.

Los padrinos tienen que estar casados POR

LA IGLESIA. Si es posible neceisita una copia

del Certificado de Matrimonio en la Iglesia. El

costo es $35 en la día del Bautismo.

RCIA

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) provides a person who is not baptized with a

supportive individual journey of faith. We also welcome those who have not

received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. This may be the time for you to

FOOD PANTRY

We continue to ask for your support with donations for our Food Pantry, it is always a great help! Please place

donations in the Barrel marked Food Pantry located by the kitchen and in the office. Some suggestions are: 1lb.and 2lb. bags of white rice and beans, canned soups, chili, peanut butter and jam and ESPECIALLY NEED THICK MENS SOCKS. WE THANK YOU KINDLY FOR ANY SUPPORT YOU CAN OFFER!

CATECISMO Y RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Classes de catecismo empiezan de nuevo el miercoles y jueves el 10 y 11 de enero 2018 al hora normal.

Religious Education classes resume on Sunday January 7th and Tuesday January 9th 2018 at the regular times.

Notice / Notícia Cardinal Newman students are on Christmas break until Wednesday January 10th. The regular bathrooms can be used and feel free to walk through the breezeway. They will be attending school here for a tentative 2 more weeks in January We will keep you informed. Thank you for your cooperation. La escuela de Cardinal Newman está de vacaciones para la Navidad. Se puede usar los baños como siempre y puedes andar por el corredor sin problema.

If St. Paul were alive today, he would likely say,

“God can never be outdone in generosity, but the Resurrection community is a close second!” Your generosity allows us to provide food assis-tance to hundreds of needy families and respond to frequent calls for a variety of needs. As the weather has grown colder and we have moved deeper into winter, our calls for assistance have been increas-ing. So, we humbly turn to you to ask for your con-tinued financial support. Please give whatever you can to the SVDP’s 5th Sunday Collection on De-cember 31st. GOD BLESS YOU! YOUTH GROUP WILL RETURN..January 11, 2018 Sacrament preparation…. For those high school students who are studying for the sacraments…remember to check your calendars for up-coming dates.

Los sobres para ofertorio estan disponible despuez de las Misas en Ingles y Español, este domingo el 31 de diciembre y el proximo domingo el 7 de enero, 2018 en el salon. Usamos una companía nuevo y solo es para 6 meses. Tienes romper cada sobre cada

semana. Los sobres van estar en orden del alfabético por appelido. Los sobres tambien van estar disponible en la oficina durante la semana.

2018: “A TIME FOR COMPASSION” Come, join with others who wish to explore this theme so that hopefully we may grow in a better understanding of compassion in the world, in the church and in ourselves. Offertory Envelopes will be available for pick up after all the masses (Spanish & English) Saturday and Sunday Dec. 30th and 31st and January 6th and 7th in the Religious Education Building. We used a new company and they are a tear out and only provide the first 6th months. The envelopes will be in alphabetical order by last name. Also available in the office during the week. We are handing them out
