This Document will look at the Gang which be playing the

villain within the narrative. I will look at key player with

in it.

The Gang

The Gang 1 | Crimson

Beginning of the GangDuring the crisis the Bloods and Crips ended their long feud and made an alliance. The

Gangs leaders convened at a secret location to discuss their alliance and leadership role. As

both gangs had set they would retain those set but have a new banner hosted over them.

Crimson was the decided hiding the two original gangs name within. Cri symbolised the

Crips. Also to the original Crip member unofficially believed the location of Cri at the

beginning of the word suggest the beginning of the gangs and the superiority of the Crips

over the Bloods which had been part of their gang long ago. The bloods got the full word as

the colour as it represented blood. This again became unofficial known as the Bloods

superiority as the word encapsulated the Cri therefore so did the Bloods encapsulated the

Crips.

The Hierarchy

The gangs leaders had a difficulty during this period as they wanted to claim leadership for

themselves. The conversations ran for up to week with many chance of the alliance breaking

down. However by the end the discussion the gangs settled on a council as the appointed

leader selecting 4 leaders from each gang to control their newly formed gang. They would

have members work beneath known as generals and like the army going to down in stages

until the lower ranks which end as Pimp, Dealer and finally Foot Solider.

Rise to Power

After their week of organization the Crimson gangs had been formed with all sets on each

side changing their name to Crimson. Forcing old rivalries to become a truce and combine

their sets and areas together. The effect was substantial Drug trade grew and the profits

doubled as finical the gang gained more power. In the following month with the depression

setting in, the membership rose as the income for each rank out shone other job classes.

By 2013 the gang was notorious and controlled big areas of Los Angeles. The result was a

rise in crime as their number began to outgrow local law enforcement staff. By 6 month the

crime rate had doubled again and the backlog of case where immense. In result the gangswhere living the free life as the likelihood of being arrested was rare. Following this the

gangs began to make inroads in to local agencies and began bribing official and officer alike

to look past crime even before they were committed. Soon the gangs had more control of

L.A. than the government and began expanding their work to places such a Nevada and San

Francisco - With only federal agency poking around every 12 to 18 months. By 2014 they

had dominance in these states controlling casino and whore house alike in both states but

remained loyal to L.A. branch and the home of the Gang which had become known to the

Gang as the Crimson Valley.

Gangs Colours

The Gangs had originally been blue and red in colour but when the joined together they

used purple as a sign of the two colours merging and was seen to prosperity. The colour was

compulsory for the gangs but was displayed in a different fashion by different sets that use

handkerchief around their heads or purple jackets. With their rise in financially gang

member began to where custom suits which had purple implement or bought a car with

purple paint on them.

Initiation

The gangs had originally used the same method of initiation into the group by killing a

member of the opposing set but due to the alliance had become obsolete. Instead they

began targeting regular day citizen, in most cases supermarket vendors or business owner

who had been late with protection payment or had try to deceive the gang by laundering

money. However a rule applied the more famous or important the death the higher the

rank. As such they began targeting politicians, actor/actress, and even some musician

however making sure to stay away from local heroes/heroine.

Gangs Violence

With the truce in place, the gangs main focus was on the Latin Kings which in a similar way

had amassed a huge following. The gangs normally would have small set fight which adds up

to nothing more than being on the wrong turf. However the Crimson where more dominate

and with influence in local P.D. would wage a gang war with the Latin gangs and push them

out of their turf. This began to be known as Crimson King War. However with different

nationalities within each area it became had to get rid of the kings as they would

masquerade as civilian if there area had been occupied.

Character Design

The Initiate

Samuel Jones - a.k.a. SJ, Sammy, Diablo Muerte, DD

Sammy Jones grew in the neighbourhood at the end of Los Feliz Blvd and had been

accustomed to crime from an early age. This became an influence on his life as he began to

hang with gang member whilst at school and at home. However when trying to initiate into

the local gang (The White Fences Whom would later join part of Latin Kings) he wasnt

excepted to due to his colour even though his mother was from south American origins. In

result by the time he was 16 he was isolated at his school and received a beating by the

gang 20yds from his house. This was a near end from SJ but lucky for him a Crip gang where

riding by and saw the white fence beating a fellow African American. The gang where shot

down in an improvised drive-by and SJ was escorted to the car and driven to the nearby set

safe house. His allegiance to the Crips grew as he began to hang with the member at school

and saw himself accepted into the group. But as a child he remained not a member until he

came of age. However it was a month after his 17th

birthday when he watched the awful

image of his mother being mowed down by a drive-by. At first it appeared to be another

gang but after an investigation began it appeared to be that of the White fences. In

conclusion, SJ began to commit crimes against South Americans; be it steals from a shop or

beating on locals walking him home. In result his racial hate grew and his ambition to be

part of the cribs grew. By the time it came to his 18th

SJ was ready to become a fully fledged

crib and to locals had became known as Diablo Muerte (- Devils Death or DD for Short). As

standard this began his initiate progress but for his reputation the (Now known) Crimson

had set him a bigger task this one would be a famous actor of Latin background.
