• The charter was created in the city of London, on April 10, 1606 (which is a long time from now. Its just over 400 years!).

• The charter was intended for a request for permission, so the audience was meant to be the French government to grant their charter.

• The reason the Charter was produced was to tell how the settlers would live in Virginia, and also to grant permission to spread Christianity through the east coast of America.

• The main Idea of the Charter was the Christians in Europe specifically London, wanted to spread their religion in America.
