“An urban educator for nearly 30 years, Linda Lipkin

began her career teaching English at Cambridge Rindge and Latin High School. After crossing the river to join BPS as a Literacy Coach, she worked to support teachers and

school leaders in developing a collegial culture of collaboration in cross-disciplinary literacy. In 2005, Linda

was a founder of the Social Justice Academy, where she served as the Assistant Headmaster/Director of

Curriculum, Assessment and Placement. Linda brought her BPS experiences to Greater Lowell Technical High School in 2012, where she was the Director of Title I and leader of

a multi-disciplinary department dedicated to serving students in need of extra academic supports. Upon her

return to BPS in 2014, Linda joined the Academic Response Team, coaching teachers and instructional leaders in

Turnaround Schools. She is excited to join the administrative team, and is looking forward to getting to

know the O'Bryant School community."
