Thirsty Crow

On a very hot afternoon, a crow was

flying in the sky. He was thirsty and

was looking all around for water, but

he could not find any. He kept on

searching till he saw a water-pot. He

went near the pot and looked into it.

He was happy to see some water. But,

it was at the bottom of the pot. He

could not reach it. As, he was unable

to drink the water, he looked around

and saw some pebbles. He got an

Idea. He picked up a pebble. He

dropped it in the pot. He picked

another pebble and dropped it in the

pot. The water came up a little. He

repeated the same, till the water

came up to a height. He was happy as

he could now reach the water. The

crow then drank the water. He drank

till he was no more thirsty. Then, he

flew away merrily.
